You need subways and monorails like crazy! Make your city less dense like don't pack all the high density commercial/residential together everybody driving to work etc gonna have huge traffic and parking problems.

@pote2639conan Here's the stupidest thing - it's not the highway can't handle it.

The MORONIC sims don't use it because "it is too long" - i almost banged my head to the desk when i found out this was the AI's logic.

There SUPPOSEDLY are some fixes for this but i haven't been able to make it work. As soon as i reach "NY size" city traffic become unbearable. Trains and subway will help but not nearly enough.

Highways sit on "green" status while idiots use "red" roads.

1 million people in SF, 1,200,000 people in San Jose, and more than 5 million people in the east bay. Half of the people in LA go to SF every day, and take the bay bridge which is always traffic filled. And plus, SF is MUCH MUCH smaller than LA, so that means more cars in less space. So actually, SF is worse than LA. But yes I have been to LA, I actually lived there for a year, and it is bad.

Although it seems like 280 and 101 always have heavy traffic, i believe the traffic on 405 and 10 is much worse.

I had this thing with an avenue in the middle and on both sides 2 one way roads . The whole thing was so busy people could barely move . Transit was also crowded , this city had about 1,500,000 people , the region had maybe 4,000,000
