Presentation: 2k5 did way better. Pregame, Halftime, Post game. Not a silly little intro that gets boring after the first three times

Gameplay: a huge step up from where it was before but still has many issues Example: Receivers not locating the ball while its in the air. Linebackers can jump higher than Lebron James.

Commentary: The worse commentary in sports game

Franchise Mode: is a joke. You play one year and pretty much done playing.

Superstart mode: 5000 characters by itself.

M12 is an improved game, but it still lacks that full simulation aspect. Minor details, Authenticity (Player Likeness, individuality, Proper foot planting), Dynamic Physics and unscripted gameplay.

I think this game is great too, I paid for 09, 10, 11 and 12 and this is my favorite since 09. 10 and 11 were to slow, I agree this is one of the best Madden games, NHL and Fifa are also good this year.

Presentation? fuck all that cute shit. It's gameplay that makes a football game and EA Sports has failed year after year at that. People that buy this game for the presentation is the reason why we will never get a playable football game from EA Sports again. The last decent Madden was 07 for PS2.

I played NFL 2K5 a few days ago, while I still love it ,I don't want to stick with it anymore, the graphics of Madden do spoil you, and the gameplay almost matches the graphics greatness. I can see how someone can say this is the best football game ever made. Has a few hitches, but still think it's awesome.

This might be one of the worth reviews I've ever seen. I wasn't expecting much when he picked the Eagles and immediately sprints to the sideline with Vick but that TD pass to Jackson was pathetic. The computer doesn't even react...the CB turned his body and froze. Incredible stuff...

It blows my mind that people continue to pay $60 for this game. They added pregame intros....that's it! Nothing will change until people stop buying Madden.

I've been playing madden 12 all day and I can honestly same this a great game. First the details in this game is amazing how the players run and not slide like in old madden, they run their routes and the way the uniforms and helmets get dirty and scratched. The down fall to madden 12 is the commentary which is shit and the halftime and postgame highlights suck, I miss chris berman halftime show from 2k5 so my review i will give it a 8.5 overall gameplay ang graphics a 9

@thehiphopgamershow It never adds anything substantial to justify a $60 price tag every year and they never fix the real problems. Like you said, they are all about presentation, not gameplay A 9.5 rating is for groundbreaking games like GTA, Oblivion, Uncharted, Halo ect. This is just another rehashed Madden. This game has had the same engine since PS2, its time to switch it up and go for something new, like player physics. I know you get what i'm saying, EA is greedy.

@thehiphopgamershow First, there's no formation subs in the pause menu; there was in 2k8 and last gen Maddens. The big hits need to be toned down: every tackle seems like a slobber knocker. There's no pass interference or penalties period with the exception of holding or false start; basically, penalties are only called on the offense for the most part. The Oline/Dline interaction needs works. It's better, and you can feel the presence of elite dlineman.

@thehiphopgamershow There's no double team blocks on passing plays. The passing trajectory ( while improved) is still a little off. A lot of the catching animations and swatting animations need to be removed. When is the last time ( other than a hail mary pass) that you've seen a pass knocked down by a swat ? Passes, in reality, are either deflections, interceptions, or passes ( that were dropped) that should have been interceptions.

@thehiphopgamershow The foot-planting animations need work. They're either to akward ( herky-jerky) or they don't trigger at the right times making the player movement look less than authentic. This game is a big step over M11, but if you combine APF's engine with NFL teams and players, it would still be superior to this game.
