How come if a game company had a game concept first then it's automatically a ripoff of their game? Sonic R came out before Mario Kart. So instead of having the characters run, Sega actually put them in karts. So correct me if I'm wrong but Sega had the racing with items and attacks concept before Nintendo so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Actually, Mario Kart came out before the first Sonic racing game did! (The first Sonic racing game was Sonic Drift, released in 1994 for the Game Gear, and Mario Kart began on the SNES in 1992.) And the whole racing with items and attacks was started by Nintendo and SEGA took the idea. Still, this game looks good.

Two things for you.

1. How is this a spinoff? Sonic & Sega. Sega owns more than one franchise. LIke Billy Hatcher, and Sambo de Amigo. So it's not a spin-off its company based.

1. It's a spin off in the sense that it doesn't follow any canon sequel to any of the franchise that appears in this game. But yeah, you're right, it's more company based if anything.

2. Doesn't matter who came first. Nintendo did the kart based games perfectly in the end. My reason for saying it may be an MK ripoff is because that's what everyone is feeling about this game, but on my side of the story, I'm actually enjoying this idea rather then hating on it.

So just chill. I'm not a hater.

Truthfully this game would be more of a Diddy Kong Racing style game than MK, because it uses Kart, Bikes and Planes. (DKR was Car, Hovercraft, and Plane).

Hmm, although the most recent couple of Sonic games weren't all up to par, I 'll still give this one a chance cause you can never really tell the future (DBZ:Evolution=Auto Fail). People may say Sonic doesn't belong in a car but, I bet he gets tired of running some time. Just imagine if you were always running, ALL the time. But, this game doesn't look too bad so far. It has some Mario Kart elements, but doesn't look like a rip-off of it. This game would be more of a Diddy Kong Racing type.
