Have you tried contacting Ford cusomter service? Have you tried getting your car serviced at another dealership? Have you had your selling Ford dealership contact the Ford Service field rep in your area? Have you called Ford Motor Credit to get them involved? There are ways to get assistance from automotive manufacturers, and believe me, all car companies produce vehicles with problems, not just Ford. Hopefully you can get these issues solved quickly and enjoy your car once again.
Also, sorry to hear about your car. It sucks you hate it and there's nothing you can do about it. I personally love my focus so far, but its an se. The powershift on mine shifts well, although its no DSG. Hopefully the thumbdrive will at least make your car tolerable until the lease is up
@mercmilan06 it's still a very good transmission according to car and driver, but I doubt any dealers will carry it. I wanted to get me SE with a stick shift but according to the dealership I bought mine at they couldn't find any manual transmissions in the State, and that I'd have to order it. I didn't want to wait months, so I ended up sticking with the auto. I still don't really know if I made the right choice or not
@carguy379 Yeah I know but I just much prefer having 6 ratios to work with, so that's one benefit of the automatic. It took me 7 weeks to get my special ordered one, but I got a pretty early model only a few months into production before the demand rose so it might have taken longer for you but I can't say for sure. Mine even has an engine cover, and those only came on Titaniums up until mid-May 2011 (mine was built on 4/25)
@mercmilan06 I do like having 6 gears, and the traffic here in Tucson is just completely bumper to bumper every day, soI probably would have gone insane with a stick shift. Overall I'm happy with my car, although I've only had it for about 2k miles
When I saw the new focus come out I thought ford actually did something right for once. Nope still looks like the same one that screwed my dad back in 89 on a probe GT!
It seems like you dont like the car, because of the mft. When the mft update comes out and it works decent (if) I might look into leasing one, I just sold my truck :)
God I can't wait until 3.0. I hate hate hate 2.11. You're lucky you get text messages on MFT. iPhones are still supported. Uhg. My Focus still has the tranmission issues, especially in reverse uphill. It HATES that! Oh and BTW I got my car fixed, $4300 to fix a low speed collision. Sigh.-_-
I wish car manufacturers would just stick with a car that works and just keep it forever and ever...Look at the Ford Ranger? That truck stayed the same for years and years. It provided a good small work truck and people liked it. Now this dual clutch semi automatic transmission and My Ford Touch? I wonder if this is the 2012 thing they talked about! Ford's behaving badly!

Do you know how to do a master reset of Sync Touch? If you do that, like reinstalling a PC etc, it will run way better
