That truck driver did exactly what you're not supposed to do, which is swerve your 50,000lb vehicle onto an embankment where more oncoming traffic may in front of you. The only thing the truck driver should have done was hit the brakes.

it was the right move to go off road. Had the hill been more of an incline, the trailer would have fallen on the SUV, Bottomline, if you notice yourself swerving into traffic STOP driving and close your eyes for 30 min. to think about head-ons and how much you dont want one. Plus, WTF, the cammera woman should'a could'a didnt, honk and flash the sleapy driver. DAM!! went for the money shot. figures.

it's the dumbsluts in their tiny ass cars that are the problem! rarely is it the truck driver's fault! when people get rear-ended by a semi, the law does say that the person who rear-ended someone is to blame, but if there's a guard rail on your right and another semi passing on the left on a 2 lane road, there's nothing the semi could do except slam on the brakes, which never works, because if he swerves to the right, he'll clip the back of the car and send it spinning into the left lane

That truck driver did exactly what you're not supposed to do, which is swerve your 50,000lb vehicle onto an embankment where more oncoming traffic may in front of you. The only thing the truck driver should have done was hit the brakes.
