This is not a bad wind turbine this is where the safety system failed. the design is just fine. The furling or stall system which is suppose to kick in at 55mph did not work. Small glitch. Big mess.

The breaking mechanism failed. Normally they will slow down the mill in a storm like this one. Vestas who produced this mill have taken responsibility... lack of maintenance.
