only someone that is from this area could ever sing this song like that....just like patty loveless. i am from blackey ky. i do not live there anymore but i can defiently relate to this song......and damn if you did not do this song justice...so keep up the great work and never forget where you are from.
Great vocal almost brings a tear to your eye.I'm not from harlan but i live in appalachian mtn's down in east tennessee so i can relate to the lyrics and the coal mines.

I am from Jackson County KY, and a proud son of a long line of coal miners. This song reminds me of where I am from and I love it. Fantastic job!!
