From his site his biography explains he did graduate work on toxicology, and was an advisor to the WHO on cancer research...so I guess his doctorate is in that area. just FYI

The scientists of todays age are so egotistical that they think in a way that "oh, we are the smartest type of people on the planet so uh our statements should be taken as truth" even with making stupid statements like "yeah, maybe there is other life out there y'know" where it is pretty obvious there is other life so even science fails with simple logic. That's exactly what people DON'T do in science. Think about it like this. You hear a weird howl in the night. A scientist wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it's a ghost. The rational and OPEN MINDED thing to do is investigate all possibilities. If you actually find evidence for a ghost you can present your data and collect a Nobel Prize for the discovery of the millenium.

Well you have to show that your type of investigations are accurate and give good data. That's exactly where this supernatural stuff falls short. Occams razor isn't exactly 100% accurate but you have to consider it in these claims.

1. Something happens that breaks all physical laws that we know of.

2. Human psychology is flawed and not really equipped to handle logical and long term reasoning (or we'd be dead in the wild if we stopped to examine all weird noises or whatever.)

I just want to add that you do make a good point. Again, I sound like a broken record but pick up a book in natural science, I think you'd get rid of some of your preconceptions about how science works and understand the principles (which makes it a self correcting world view, that's why we can know the exact age of the universe, they were changing it left and right 10 years ago, today it's no doubt about the exact date and even minute)

I think it's going to amazing, the sight of it against the sun, as the tail always is pointing away from the sun, so in effect we will be looking down the tail & towards the sun, maybe we will see some amazing rainbow colour effects in the heavens with a blue spirral halo shimmering.
