Numerous scholars date all of them prior to AD 70, because there is no mention of the total destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem or the final years and deaths of Paul, Peter and the other apostles.

I'm a Christian (Quaker though, not Evangelical), but it bothers me how no Creationist has yet been able to explain to me why Creationism and Evolutionism have to be considered mutually exclusive. They have all been there longer than their words. So by comparing a new word for an old existence then god is a new made up word. It is a good piece of literature because of the amalgamation of many different genres, and writing styles into one book that flows. Studies have also shown that people in faith groups have better mental health(ironic) than people not in faith group on average. I'm a Christian (Quaker though, not Evangelical), but it bothers me how no Creationist has yet been able to explain to me why Creationism and Evolutionism have to be considered mutually exclusive. It seems most people just sort of take it as a given that if you believe in God, you have to believe all this other pap about Earth being 6,000 years old. I hate to think that spirituality and ignorance have to be a package deal, but that seems to be where the mainstream Christian movement is going.

The bible is an ancient collection of texts that were written in an ancient perspective. The problem is that Fundamentalist Christians take every world literally and they do not look at it from the ancient perspective. However, I dont think the bible is useless, the themes of the bible are universal.

While there is no 100% proof positive example of how we or the universe was created (PROTIP: There are more theories out there than "the big bang" vs "God did it"), we are pretty good at ruling out the ways it DIDN'T happen. Not to mention, science and Christianity can coexist, so why preach so vehemently against it? Please, get an IQ over 50 and stop telling your kids science is wrong and we used to ride dinos like horses.
