  • "I worked in the colony, paying my dues

Accepting without question the prevailing views

That a Meerkats life was one long grind.

Digging holes, standing guard, 'till it crossed my mind

    I was wrong

    And all alone

    All that I needed

    Was to have heeded

    Hakuna Matata"

  • being a hobo is fun :D I agree

  • they should have kept that scene in!

  • If you get the albulm rhythm of the pride lands...they do a version of hakuna matata that is timons verses

  • what it is timon said he needs in the song after the part "all that I needed, was to" ....? at 1:00

  • I believe he said "all that I needed" twice, and then said "Hakunah Matata" or however you spell it...does that help??

  • At 0:06 Simba looks a little like Winnie the Pooh. =D

  • The more I look up these deleted scenes from Lion King and Lion King 2 the more I wish they had all never been cut from the movies.

  • I think they cut it out so they could make tlk 3 with Timon's story.

  • they did well done :D they even said that in the extra things in the special edition they said they thought well we can make a whole other movie

  • Man, why they always gotta cut out the good scenes!!

  • can someone write what timon says when he was in the colon? I did't understand well.

  • "I worked in the colony paying my dues, accepting without question the prevailing views that a meerkat's life was one long rhyme; digging holes, standing guard until it crossed my mind: I wrong and all alone. All that I needed was one long word..."

You can guess from there ^_^

  • I've never seen this before, I already knew how Timon got there in the first place as it states in a few episodes of Timon and Pumba.

The one in the movie is indeed better but it's nice to see this one. (some of the words obviously didn't quite fit)

  • it's funny

  • Lmfao.

They somewhat used this to compose Timon's backstory in Lion King 1 1/2

  • i like the verse that is in the movie and in the broadway musical , but this is nice thankyou so much for poasting , i have never saw this before , until now

  • i agree the one in the film is a lot better

  • intresting to see how Timon got there but i can see why they changed it.

  • Wow, this is a real eye-opener. Thanks for posting it!

  • @Flea01 sure!
