  • I'd love to be able to one of these cars someday in my life . Cause it's a clasic icon, and was a good car back in it's day's . and still to date . Nice video of the Delorean. And driving on the track. :)

  • Did anyone else have doc come into their room while watching this, and tell them that they have to go back in time win that race? :s

  • boring

  • Driving slowly because he didn't want to hit 88 mph and see serious shit.

  • Nice vid and lovely car !! anyway, fyg rece drivers use both hands on the steering wheel.. not only one and the other on gear box ;) brgs

  • HA! And idiots playing GT5 online say "NO ONE races a DeLorean" Can watch this video and SUCK IT!!!

  • @BlueFox284 boo yeah son DMC LOVE

  • I hate reading those two coments from those two dip shits slagging him off for his driving skills and they don't even know him for christ sake.

  • Отстой !!! Моя бабушка быстрее переключается. Ездун неочем

  • Rofl - Always amused how people with only road-driving skills (if any) think driving a track is easy. A Delorean is a very heavy car (usually steel, and nearly indestructible). They can drift -beautifuly- and grip the road in a manner almost unmatched by most outside of the pro-car circut (nothing beats a half-million dollar professional racing car, no matter how well built). And even though he says "pushing it to its limit" - the driver is just being modest. This car can do considerably more.

  • Well fuck me sideways, youtube comments have hit another new low.

  • you need to rev it out a little more, bud

  • step on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DMC is running again out of Houston, Texas USA. They are building new cars out of the original parts with upgrades. Though no new engine, I would hope that someday hey make an all new car that goes as good as it looks. Since the car weighs about 2700lbs it wouldn't take much. A 260Chp Ecotech turbo four would be a good start.

  • @DocWolph a straight 6 would be better. ;p

  • @akkudakkupl I don't think anyone makes an I-6 that would fit. The problem is the length of the engine. It would have to be a V6 not an I-6 and there are plenty of great V6s out there.

  • @DocWolph the newer ones (V6) are good :-) but the old sawn-off V8 arent so great :D well the original engine was a nice evenfiring unit :-) anything more than 4 cylinders is good, for the smoothness of the car :-) i think VW VR6 would fit there... and that would be a nice engine for so light car :-)

  • Drive what love........

  • I love thease crs but Ive got to say the interior is pretty flimsy and I would drop somthing a bit bigger maybe a v8 351 somthing whith a bit more how can I say growl

  • if that's the cars limit.... i quit.This car goes up to 7000 rpm not 3500 >:P

  • I wouldnt swap the motor due to the fact that I would want to keep it classic. I would like to beef up the stocker with some pistons, rods, and maybe a port and polish on the head. Im sure it would be a bit of a runner and you could still have the whole classic package.

  • I would swap. Mazdas rotary engines are small and powerful. But thats just me. I would love making people eat their words about the delorean

  • is he going 2 the future?

  • learn to double clutch .. and to keep both hands on the wheel ...

  • the DeLorean doesn't need to double clutch, check your facts

  • fuck jesus i give up ... i get little faggots telling me to check my facts about double clutching and keeping two hands on the wheel ... fuck wow ok do what you want ... i dont give a fuck you drive like a fucking homo ..... nuff said .. peace

  • Goddamned bench racers.

  • you dont have to double clutch in a car with synchros. go back you fast and furious wannabe

  • They were slow but who the fuck cares! I just saw a man who slipped a 20B and a Porsche transmission in one! 4.5 sec to 60 would be just fine for me! Quick or slow its a cool ass car.

  • I rode in one the other day. An 81 with 16k miles on it. It did great i thought. Car only weighs 2700 pounds and the V6 has a good bit of tourqe.

  • amen to that!

  • why does everyone say deloreans are slow, cant someone just drop a bad ass engine in one?

  • thats what the guy at the top is talking about iv seem them at 4.0 sec flat one had a Audi tt engine in it fukn sweet lol not the best engine but quick fast

  • yeah, like a northstar caddi engine !!!!

  • Way ahead of there time design wise and I still want to get one.

  • Yea I have actually

  • Haha Im sorry dude there are so many dumb people on here I cant take anyone serious. But yea I did race a pos one down I 40

  • Comment removed

  • Yea could be never though of that, but it would be almost impossable to do all that.

Yea they handle well and are quick. Get about 25 mpg to

  • Nah mine is an 1986 N/A and all my miles are Highway. Idk be carfull though that are SOOOO hard to work on. IM actually lookin for a

    60's mustang

  • Comment removed

  • Im ports are great, but nothin lie a V8. GOt a video of it

  • Comment removed

  • My 1986 Nissan 300zx would kick its ass

  • Tthe DeLorean wasn't built for speed, people who are stuck on "if a cars not as fast as mine its gay lol!" are just retards who are compensating for something.

  • I just think its funny that you can take my $3000 car and smoke a car thats $25000 lol. Hell thing was free thats why I drive it. I actually would love to have a DeLorean.

  • Haha.... like I said FACT not opinion

  • Yes - it's an interesting car... your views are perhaps harsh but nevertheless could be more or less true. Most DeLorean fans are biased - like me. Such a quirky stylish car.

  • GREAT VIDEO :D!

I think that it's awesome that you put her on a track. Good to see someone testing what these things can do. Even though they're not the fastest car, it's cool to see one getting the taste of the track-life.

  • YOU suck!!!

  • why are you guys insulting the man i thought it was a good vid not the greatist but it was nice how much did that car cost you man

  • Grow up! And really - stop insulting people you don't know! No one asked you to watch it.

  • I thought you did a great job on the video. Kudos to you for owning a Delorean and showing people how awesome they are!

  • This car is beautiful I would drive one over any ferrari or lambo any day, however a pantera or a bricklin on the other hand would be a tough choice.

  • @ssjgotengt fuck you faggot

  • @shizzel122 no fuck you buddy... dumb shit

  • @ssjgotengt don't call me buddy, ya cunt!

  • @ssjgotengt Im watching this video for a laugh, THE CAR IS CRAP! Drives like a shopping trolley full of bricks.

  • I think you mean "full of shit". And no I'm not, I'm not sure why some people find this clip so provocative...

  • @Anbrahaesl They are just jealous. Nice car man and good drivin.

  • yea dude... thats deff a Delorean

  • any chance they can install a 350Z engine?

  • Delorean had 2.8 liter PRV V6. 911's have turbo flat six.

  • haha! you could hear the car was begging to floor it, man what a car!

  • In my last comment, I should have used "it could go much faster" instead of "could drive more faster". Sorry

  • I agree, but not with those tires, I can guarantee you that. I've got normal street tries on and they were melting on the surface, getting real slippery. And my main objective was to drive an undamaged car home that evening.;)

  • That is also true. If you want to have your car undamaged, you have to driver slower;)

  • Hmm, even if this car doesn't have any racing heritage, it could drive more faster. It seems that you were driving very, very slow:(

  • the engine sounds like my v6 lebaron at high rpms

    deloreans are amazing!!

  • How could you forget the flux caspiator ?!?!? :(,it needs it for 88mph :(

  • 88mph!..lol

  • Well done! The Delorean may not be an effective track day weapon but kudos for thinking outside the box, it is one of the coolest cars ever done!

Any modifications on this car? It sounds great!

  • I remember having a sit in one in the mid 80's (I was 14), that was the last real one I've seen lol. Nice vid, good to see them still driving around.

  • Deloreans kick ass! Long live the Stainless Wonder!

  • hey all you haters, with a car that fuking cool, he doesnt have to prove a goddamn thing. that car has more style parked than any ten second car does racing, true story!

  • WORD!

  • word up bro, OSOG gangsta!

  • your the first guy i seen race the delorean on a track you need to be the first one on youtube to do a burnout on your delorean i can't find nobody do a burnout with there deloreans

  • I love to be your cameraman next time as well.

It's soon to be a "cone track evening" somewhere in Malmoe harbor, please join in. Time to compare track time ;)

Zoon I will fix tha greater auspuff on zee Amazon ja!

  • you have a standard PRV in it right? that sounds pretty good, and performs well, so whats the fuzz then

  • Some people just don't know a good car when they see one. The driver seems to be doing pretty good as well. The original PRV engine had 130 hp. The new engine from DMC of Houston TX has 197 hp. I'd drive either one. I love Deloreans!

  • The stage 2 engine by DMC TX sounds and looks good, but there are guys in England who offer something simmilar for simmilar price, but the difference is, that their engine has 200 hp, while DMC engine has 197, plus, the english guys offer de-catalysed exhaust which if selected gives you 200+ engine, which to me sounds better than 197.

  • Yes, It is the standard PRV engine but with an upgraded exhaust system and a K&N air filter. It's DMC Hustons full flow system that gives the engine 15-20% more power and a fantastic sound. That's what you can hear in the video.

  • Tjena!

  • Jajamensan! Redan innan jag köpte bilen blev jag medlem. E man biltokig så e man! Vad kör du själv? Rostfritt? ;-)

Men du verkar ju glad i alla fall..

  • At least he gets to drive a Delorean! Leave the man alone!

  • Learn how to drive!! I can't believe you drive in a circuit with one hand on the stick....give back your driving licence

  • Learn how to spell!! It's "license" not "licence"

  • At least I speak 3 language and an irrilevant error like that can happen asshole...

Translate this: Sei proprio un coglione e la tua ignoranza è tipica del tuo paese che scommetto è l'america.

  • Oh please! It was a joke. If you jump someone you have to expect a reply. And I've never made any claim of being a racing driver - it was just for fun as is this forum. Kind regards

    Anders

  • With such a sense for languages one might think that you could express yourself with some grace. Just enjoy the show!

  • how about you get your facts straight. It can be spelt both ways depending what country you're from.

  • Oh my, we're still there... OK, so none you understood. You have to excuse me and try to live with my ignorance and I'll try to live with yours. Kind Regards Anders.

  • You are one of the luckiest people on the planet to own a DMC! If you had the Stage 2 engine upgrade with 197 hp you could race a BMW Z4 roadster. But it's a expensive upgrade so I don't expect all DMC owners to have. I'm just glad that one of my all time favorite cars is still alive after all these years! Take good care of it.

  • DUDE I AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT! Where do you live? do you know if theres a DMC facility near you? I live in WA and live just miles form the facility that I never knew of since I lived in Bellevue for 13 years, and the facility is in Bellevue also! How crazy is that I just foundout and my jaw dropped and I said to myself *OMFG!* So I called the place up and will go for a visit soon, I talked to the owner and he said it was alright forme to take pictures and etc since Im a huge fan of the car.

  • I live in Florida. The closest facilty is in Bonita Springs about 2 hours from Tampa.

  • OH yeah yeah thers one in FL yeah! cool man! you should pay a visit to the Delorean facility and it be really awsome I willas soon as I get my freaking Accord painted in one color and get it lowere again and jsut bunch of other craps and then take a picture of the delorean next to my car so my friends dont think im all talk ha ha ha ha!
