So what is the best way to insure that what you are getting is legit?

you have to know what you are buying, take a closer look at anything you want to buy, the more the item costs, the more you should examine it

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM A SCAMMER! that way you will not get burned, that is the safest bet, on ebay you check if the seller is a scammer first, if he or she is, you NEVER BUY ANYTHING THEY SELL!

and the sad things, like with the ap rc, is it was a decent card before they jacked it up with this fake ass auto

Y would you spend that much money on a card in teh first place instead of getting that card that is gonna sit there in your closet or glass window or what ever you keep it in y not buy something good like a console that you can actually use.

That Favre card is from the "Turn Back the Clock" set that Topps released in 2005. There was supposedly some sort of autograph program when they released those but the info on them is pretty vague. Regardless, I've seen those (+ the same exact cards for other players) and they only get listed by 2 sellers so I'd doubt they are real.

The topps chrome and bowman chrome autos are really bad fakes...the real autos from those sets have around where the auto is a white shadow box type thing...and the auto also looks ungodly fake.

nothing manny, just another scammer from jersey, seems like a lot of fakes are coming out of new jersey lately, the source is someplace in your state is what i believe, while the couterfeit rookie premiers are coming from vegas, just trying to track these scammers down
