I'm thinking of buying the Palm Pre and i was wondering if the Pre is easily broken I hear talk of people saying that the key board slides around and gets stuck and since u buy it with the plasitc covering..

Would i have to worry about it brakeing completely if i was to drop it ..?

and what about the battery life ?

Exacly how long does it last?

I'm hearing people say they have to carry a hole other battery with them ...?

On the Pre, how do you enter a new URL? The iPhone has a URL box on the top... What about the Pre? New window?

You can do a new window if you want. To enter a web address, simply start typing the URL or address and the address bar will appear! Anymore questions please reply!

now look at it from the bottom like looking down the sight of a gun..

on the far left and right of the key pad, does it bow away from the plastic casing? in the area sort of at the top next to the

'q, w, e,r' and on the other side 'u, i, o, p'

i need your honest opinion, i have a helio ocean and my contract will be up in a few weeks and the palm pre is reall attractive. im a heavy texter and instant messenger and i love using my phone for enttertainment as well. do you recommend this phone over the iphone? thank you!

I would not recommend this phone for texting becuase the keyboard is pretty small. I would just get a regular smartphone if you just want it for texting and instan messaging and entertainment. I would suggest to you the Palm Centro or the Palm Treo Pro. Both devices are very advanced. The Pro is the most advaced device out of those two options.
