TSFP used to be soo easy the only levels i had trouble with was the ones with the timesplitters - i never played this on easy - The game being too easy was annoying because TS2 was hard on hard it felt like TSFP story mode hadnt been done right.

@TheSmegOps I think they may have toned down the difficulty in an attempt to make it more accessible to the masses... don't know though but it is definately and disappointingly a way easier story campaign. You can still make maps hard as nails though : )

@bravado006 Its just an overlap glitch (exploit in the mapmaker). The switch is put in a regular tile that occupies the same space as the mine tile. Overlap exploits let you do a lot of other cool stuff to add variety, like sky windows, invisible platforms, and ability to put multiple items in a 1x1 space.

The FPS genre needs TS4 more than ever right now. I'm sick of all these clone, realisitic army based shooters coming out, which follow the same rules, same mechanics and same principles as eachother. We need TS4, so we can get away from this bland trend of recent shooters. Multiple characters to choose from, challenging gun fights (yes, a FPS with health!), fun game modes, great music. Why would Crytek even consider not conitiuing the most original, and fun FPS series ever!

though what made the TimeSplitters series so great is the fact that not only was there a massive quantity of content (lotsa game-modes, lotsa mapmaking stuff, LOTSA characters, LOTSA guns, and most of all... LOADSA FUN) but also that the quality of the games was always spectacular.

It baffles me as to why a TSP4 hasn't been made yet, as the demand for it is pretty damn huge.

We want Timesplitters 4. Crytek needs to resume production. The industry is ripe for the picking. All FPS games are too serious. We need the fun factor. And the "play, create, share genre" is perfect for the level creator. Add jumping, maybe a create or edit player, and do not use the Haze engine. Crytek... the industry is your oyster, and if you deliver what people what, people will buy it in droves.
