BTW with the pressurised cabins argument happening, it's not always 100% pressurised, otherwise air would never get in or out. There's ALWAYS a small place where air can get in and out. On planes, it's through all the orfices, air conditioning, vents on the outside of the plane that collect air and blast it into the cabin to keep it pressurised (some can escape if the cabin's full) and the tiny tiny holes in all of the windows. Same with any elevator

Um well a jet airliner's cabin is pressurized and lots of people's ears pop. Just because something is pressurized doesn't mean that your ears won't pop.

It depends on the person. My ears never pop, and I have been on elevators that reach 10 m/s.
