omg, i went to the 2009 MCAS Air Show yesterday cuz thats wat i wanted to do for my 16th bday, and it was soooooooooo fucking awesome!!!! best birthday ever! especially with the blue angels and the wall of fire at the end of the twilight show. hahaha

WHAT NO SNEAK PASS I'm disappointed NOT!!!!!!! Thanks for the great vid but what was with Blue number 6 in that peel off it almost looked like he was having enging problems cause you could only see one engine glow then the other came up? Different spooling rates??

no its a common thing sometimes both burners wont go up at the same time but its not an engine problem. even if they did have an engine problem it wouldnt be surprising their youngest jet is 18 years old but no no engine problem

our NJROTC unit was there we were sitting in the middle of the bleachers we were wearing grey PT shirts and blue jeans. I got scared from time to time because of the menuvers that can cause 2 F-18s to crash into eachother but in the end it was awesome HOOWAH THANK YOU MARINE CORPS AND NAVY

in my personal opinion i think no matter what type of show the Blue Angels fly in better than the thunderbirds

i know they do ive just been a blue angels fan since my first airshow. after all they were the first group i ever layed eyes on but i have been to a few thunderbird shows and they werent that bad i just dont like them thats all. but yes they do deserve SOME credit....just not as much as the blues lol

Lucky you! I never knew they even went on your side before. When? I would much rather have these guys come over my house than the T-Birds.

yeah they were here in 2006,they are actually the reason we began to spot jets and demo's.

I think we will never see them again but it was great,to see them train and fly.but in that time we had no camera:(
