hiya mate thanks for the tips on where to get music from, ive not done any mixing before but im really looking forward to gettin my cdj 2000's , i like the best and with all the other stuff out there nowwhere near as good as pioneer ive got to go for them. lets face it a decent set of turntables would cost over five hundred anyway. even if im totaly crap i know ive got good kit.
@bigrichist although i will mention, there is NO skill involved with mixing (atleast beatmatching) with cds esspecialy with the amount of aids displayed on the cdj-2000, if u want to learn mixing, id cover the lcd screen with ductape whcih is what im currently doing. Atm iv also requested that pioneer have an option to turn of tempo or bpm displays completly in their next firmware update.
@buzbee1991 actualy all i did was pick 2 weekly new releases on beatport as soon as I had hooked my cdjs up and mixed away pretty crap in all honesty but different I guess... cheers
hi, im lookin at buying a pair of cdj 2000's and a djm 2000 with a pair of active speakers. ive always loved all kinds of music. where do you get most of your music from. nice mix by the way.
@bigrichist my djm-2000 is on the way ;) givin it about a week. depends what ur music into, iv ur into any form of electronic music then beatport, junodownload, and other places like audiojelly etc are a good place to settle in online. im using shitty logitech speakers that are placed to give reflections and accustincs simar to a live club environment, eg muddy bass, exagerated distroted highs and delays everywhere but any speakers would do as most ppl monitor the headphones anyway thanks dude
@Solar6DJ hey thanks, vinyl anyday, only reason i got cdjs were because 90% of new tracks only are getting mp3/cd releases. so too keep playing up to date have to move to the digital age. vinyl is a little less precise and more hands on which makes it more fun, my view but cdjs are more precise, have alot of aids eg bpms, higher tempo/pitch resolutions etc. i still prefer the warm analog sound of vinyls too esspecialy thru my shure whitelabel cartridges.
love the song man! great job! :D

Well, nice mixing. I have a question. Now, when you have a CDJ and vinyl, what you prefer?
Sorry for my English if you don't understand ;] Cheers!!
