Even though they already know. I want to meet them, just to say to them. How great and infuencial their music is. I am 17 years old, I love the Bee Gees so much its crazy. I pray, eventhough im not religeous that they will come near me so that i can see them. They are just incredible.
Family is important. They've endured two terrible tragedies (3 if you count the death of their father just a few years after Andy), but love is more important than business. Maurice and Andy would want them to work it out. People are so quick to criticize. You see it with the Jackson family too. These people were/are FAMILY. Despite it all, these brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers loved each other. They know each other much better than the fans who THINK they know all.
There mother is amazing, she has lost two sons and she is still going strong there.
I think Barry and Robin stopped communicating, both were hurting too much but
clearly they recognised it and sorted out the problem, they love each other. The big problem with any performance is Barry, he has horrendous arthritis in his hands and back.
@NyeTunes I think the important thing is them being brothers and friends. Whether they sing together much is so much less important. Maybe is hurts too much still and maybe they now get on best if they work separately. Barry is less and less able to play guitar which is big problem too.
So Bee Gees fans what do ya'll think? Did Barry and Robin just decide to retire the ;name in honor of Maurice which, or course, we would all understand? I just miss hearing and seeing their beautiful faces. Their talent never changes and Barry Gibb is as beautiful and as desirable as ever!! If I could be granted one wish, it should be that I'd be out of credit card debit, it wouldn't be! It would be that I could spend one night with the sexiest man in the world, Barry Gibb! He is a hunk
The way i see it. Twins seemed to have a bond, and so with Robin, it mightve been a deeper loss. Not to say it wasn't a loss for Barry, but i remember when my aunt died, the remaining twin became, in a way, a more lost person, sometimes even cold. and i'm certainly not saying that Mo's loss was greater than Andy's loss, its just with twins...it's just differant. And it it might've put a small temporary wedge between the remaining brothers which is really not gonna last.
You are very wise. I think the death was so unexpected that Barry and Robin and family were just thrown completely for a loop. Whatever Barry and Robin do together or separately will be wonderful! I do hope that they work together again. Seems like Maurice would have wanted that.
I just wish mo would've done more lead vocal work. I've got "On Time" and his cover of the Beatles' "Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite" from that sorry excuse for a movie (but that was one of my fav "Mo" moments, i kinda wish someone would post that here.)
Although, on "Staying Alive", that part towards the end that goes "we're going nowhere, somebody help me". was that Mo singing that part while barry was singing "I'm Stayin' Alive" in falsetto?
You can't break up a family. They have their problems just like every other family has. It would be nice if they could just work their problems out in private like the rest of us are able to. If they never sing together again we have all the wonderful albums they have given us in the past to enjoy.

shit robin gibb cant afford a better rug??????????? that wig looks like they took it off my old G.I. Joe action figure...i wipe my ass with robin gibbs toupee..that thing looks like a dead squirrel on his head.
May God's mercy and grace bring healing to your family during times of such intimate tragedy. (Big brother Barry, this can't be easy-nor for you Robin or your mom)
I can't believe that Barry was left out of doing a tribute album for maurice. that was wrong of robin for letting it happen. Robin should of involved barry in the first place and left out who ever else was involved. I hope the both of them do tour again, im sure maurice would of wanted that, instead of them fighting.
It was a park dedication for Mo....I was there and it was a great day....It was held the day before Andy's birthday...After the ceremony, we drove by Barry & Robin's homes...it appeared they were having a party as there were cars lined up & down the street...I believe they were celebrating Maurice's AND Andy's lives...
obviously, it's impossible to resume the carreer of this wonderfull song writers and singers in only 3 minutes, but thank you for letting see them. In Europe we don't have any opportunity to see them on TV. Thanks

The Bee Gees did many great songs in the 60's like Massachusetts, To Love Somebody, I've Gotta Get a Message to You, I Started a Joke. I don't think you know much about their music. Also, they compose many successful songs including Island in The Stream that were recorded by other artists.
You're so right, suequll! They are wonderful musicians since more than 40 years. And they made a great job. I'm a big fan and I'm so proud of them that they still going on to make us happy with their music. Unfortunately without Maurice but we'll keep him in our mind and heart. We'll always remember him as the, by music delighted, "man in the middle" who hasn't deserve death so early. I'm so sorry for Barry, Robin and his whole family...I was shocked...

How could Barry have been left out of the tribute album??? What a terrible thing to do!

Here's something that I wrote that I think would be great if it were sang by Barry and Robin.
"All these years, we've lived day by day.
Heaven's clock is ticking away.
We must live life to the fullest before it fades.
For there's only one life and we must learn to love."
That of coarse would be the intro and there would be much to add, but I thought it would be a good tribute to Maurice.
