@gamehero77 um, ya! It's just wrong for animals to murder each other like that. I even proposed that we feed all the animals so they won't kill each other.
@DiscoverPlatinum It's not gonna get much nutrients... And look what dog food is made of. Animals. And dogs have been domesticated to be omnivorous. Wolves and other carnivores are an entirely different story.
that is very nice footage! I was not aware Hydra's moved around with that "tail" ..when I was young, I used to find them attatched to plants when the forest would flood..the puddles were teeming with life. This is in Ontario canada.. and I used to observe them fixed to the plant..soo cool they propel like that. Very complex little creature. I am re-intrigued and will be hunting this spring. Thanks! Anyone know how long these live?
@0no1one, that's true, they are. Because, instead of mating, they divide in half, and therefore are exactly the same as the one that did the splitting, so, it's a copy

@DiscoverPlatinum What will you feed the carnivores? You can't teach them to eat tofu.
MeatfortoeatALT 1 year ago
@MeatfortoeatALT I proposed dry dog food. It's plentiful and they can be fed that. And, yes, you can teach a carnivore to eat tofu. We do it!

I have no real basis to know this, but I heard from several scources that they are potentially immortal!

where can i find a hydra
narutooj598 3 years ago
Get some pond water with some duck weed floating in it. Hydra are often attached to either the bottom on the leaves or to the stem of the duck week.
