Well if ur racing.. I'ed say go for a truggy.. MTs are kinda hard to race on the fact that they got high CG... if you are just bashing I would tell you to get a Savage X 4.6... u could get the XL but that would be over your 450... But for durability and Racing? HPI hellfire is a good choice, Losi Muggen, or Ofna Jammin .. OR of you dont mind the having a buggy a Hpyer 8 or something.. I hear those cars are incredible.. 450 dollers isnt a lot to work with.. Savage X 4.6 FTW :D

the savage is a good race truck, for mts especially, its way more tunable then any major truck i can think of, suspension geometry, if you were just pointing out its worse handling then the truggy then agreed.

In the sand is not easy drive the savage...

actually i find it quite easy to use my savage x in the sand. as a matter of fact its easier to handle without flipping (if its not lowered) than on dirt.
