ok ok, stop it with the "bat for lashes version sucks" or "kings of leon sucks" stuff. can't everybody just accept that they are both wonderful bands, but from totally different types of music? yes, kings of leon is more rock, but that's how they're supposed to be. bat for lashes has a girl lead singer unlike KOL, and she had a softer voice. i personally love both versions!!

Don't like this cover at all. It's kinda too gentle for a song which is a rock genre in the original. Really doesn't have any feelings and the rock version by Kings Of Leon is definitely better.

seriously though... if you weren't a kings of leon fan before you should be. their version rocks and they did write it. simplifying a song as a smaller artist doesn't automatically add feeling to a song. it's a damn good song and any talented musician would do it justice cause it's timeless. it existed before and after kings of leon. still i think people should shut the fuck up and recognize that their silly specificity about who is bogus and baseless. no artist reigns over spirit. freelove
