The drivers there all bitched and whined every day about the poor equipment but never did anything to change it. I never said a word, just happy to have a job, and drive the truck like it was my own, cleaning the interior every weekend and fixing small repairs on my own.

It all depends which wheel is sitting more firmly on the ground. Usually the back wheel is the pivot on an even ground. If you get used to split axle, regular trailer is a piece of cake.
Yes 18spd51 there is room to blindside there is also room to turn this into almost a straight back ,but why on earth would a driver bother risking blindside when no need ...infact in 5yrs I've only had to do it maybe 5 times ...
Have never driven a truck, but I can parallel park a four-wheeler with inches to spare. Don't really know exactly where the 360 is (cause as mentioned, I don't drive a semi), but the backing sure looks all straight and good.

Not to be a wise guy, but wasn't that a big enough space to blind side? It may have just have been the camera angle or my eyes, lol. I drove a big truck for over thirty years and after a bit of practice, I got so I could blind side with a bunk most anyplace without too much trouble, thanks to a veteran driver who taught me the right way to do it.
