I love the music of WCBC and Lancaster Baptist Church. More importantly though, the preaching is convicting and has challenged me to be a more faithful Christian. Sharing the Gospel, serving in ministry, praying more faithfully, etc... Music can be very personal and what one person appreciates another person dislikes, and so I understand that not everyone will enjoy the music of LBC and WCBC, but the mudslinging, name calling, and one-uping is disheartening. Let's encourage & pray for oneanother

I purchased every CD that a West Coast group brought to a meeting last summer.

By far, this is one of there only good songs. Most of the songs were poor either in message or the performance was right out of American Idol.

I knew little about WCBC, but after a bit of digging, I'm sure I won't be sending any of my kids there, just because of their music.

Sorry for such a sore reports, but I'm just calling it as it is.

While so many "Bible Colleges" give in to popular culture, West Coast continues to preach the whole Word of God and prepare men and women for lives of service for their King.

Their music is Christ honoring, soul stirring and completely separated from worldly influences.

I would suggest, if you truly want information about this school, visit.

You will find Gods hand of blessing on this school, its staff and its students.

Bring up the song 'The Lighthouse' by WCBC. It is one of the best examples of the Hollywood's entertainment style in all of their works.

I purchase every CD that their traveling group had to offer, about 10 or 11, of that all of those songs, about 10 are worth keeping. Faithful men is one of their best.

As far as the school goes, talked with their reps, especially about the music. Plus the kids I know that have went & my former pastor, I understand where they are coming from...

@gvbnssq When most people sling names such as Pharisee it is usually a dead end road, but I'll give you a try my friend. All of my posts here simply point out that even a school which attempts to be ultra conservative can be infected by the world's influence. Hollywood stylings are quite apparent in their music. Can I still enjoy it? Sure, but it would be feeding the flesh. Can we 'Fear God' in our music? Be Holy in our music? Love not 'The World' in our music? That is the challenge...

I like this better than the one on their new CD. I think they're doing it a smidgen bit slower on the CD, but it still sounds good, though. The new WCBC CD is "For the Faith of the Gospel," and it's AWESOME!!
