Brazille is a racist hypocrite. Here she is talking about we need to stop focusing on race, but she is constantly focused on race-- as is CNN and Rick Sanchez. Cnn loves to take isolated cases of some white person saying something racist or racial and then conflate that as representative of the majority of white people.

The GOP is NOT necessarily racist. The Republican party is built on the principles of SOCIAL DARWINISM. It was Prescott BUSH who strongly promoted these principles of only the strongest survive and he exported them to Germany in the 1930s that Hitler used against the Jews. The GOP doesn't care WHO they steal from or who dies as long it is not their wealthy powerful base. They believe they have the right, the obligation to do so. For them, the end justifies the means.

When Journalists were covering Katrina, what did tehy say about the blacks in the Superdome? That the blacks were roving around in gangs , raping and killing people. And I think I remember hearing about cannibalism. And they believed it because to the Reporters blacks are either blameless criminal or helpless victim.

So these reporters are every bit as racist as the administration is.

The rest of us are sick of hearing about it.

i fail to believe that i'm the only white person who viewed the katrina mess as racist. the media keeps pushing the idea that blacks and whites seperated when viewing that tragedy, once again making the issue black and white when it needn't be.

junkforkaryn , you are not the only one. Here in biloxi after the storm, our black neighbors stayed with us. We didn't give a damn about skin color, we were all trying too survive. We stuck together and made it.
