I have the Acer aspire 5920G-932G25Bn, it has Core 2 Duo T9300 @ 2500MHz, 4 Gb ram, nVidia 8600M GT 512MB, Blu-Ray drive, and TV out and so on, but when I played GTA4 on max resolution and med settings, it runs nicely, but after 10 minutes it starts to lag. idk why. I use win7
Okay, i dunno if you guys know but, you think XP could harm acer 5920g ? *a tech guy from local store told me* im considering Xp for better performance instead of this vista acer shit :P
I have the acer 5920G too aswell with 4GB RAM intel core 2 duo T5550 processor and 8600M GS I can play grid on low with some medium settings at 1024x768 I have vista on it for now gonna dual boot XP onto it.
I have the 5920G too (T7500 2.2GHz processor and 2GB RAM), and have tried the GRID demo. It is playable, no doubt, but to call it easy on the system is a bit exaggerating imo. Did a Fraps benchmark during 1 lap:
MIN: 17
MAX: 35
AVG: 25.838
1280x800
Multisampling OFF
all advanced settings set to OFF or LOW
So I have to say it feels a bit sluggish. I've only got 2GB of RAM though, but I can't imagine 1GB more would make that much of a difference?

I run my GRID on my Acer 5920G with these settings:
- 800 x 600 resolution
- 8x Multi Sampling Anti-Aliasing
- Everything Maxed out
and I get a minimum of 21, maximum of 46, and average of 34 fps!
My VGA driver is 177.75 Nvidia.

Very nice, But with this resolution its all blurry and not sharp;)
I prefer lower details and 1280*800

Seems that I'd accidentally left my energy scheme on energy saving mode. New result is:
MIN: 34
MAX: 58
AVG: 46.990
Just awesome.
