  • saw you at alfa show

  • grazie

  • PENSAVO DI AVERNE TUTTE NELLA VITA!!!MA QUESTA è PROPRIO UNA FIGATA!!!!

  • Alfasud neutral handling, not anymore...cuore sportiv

  • Thanks, I agree the boxer is a great engine but can only go so far, I have always had a thing for the shape of the Sud but just wanted to change both of them to what I thought was the Sud for me.....but I do miss the feel and sound of a standard car.

  • Looks nice and well done, and it's really something special. It's a little bit sad because the original engine is best of Alfasud and probably the more forward-looking engine than the engine you swapped in.

But anyway, it seems that you did a good job and everyone should do what he like!

  • Molto sfaccimmosa !!!!

    Congratupescionculo !!!!

  • Good for you for not caring about peoples opinions. However, that is what these social portals are about - so that people do give their opinions. I like italian cars, they are special, not perfect. Putting a Ford 308 in an Alfa Sud destroys that speciality in my eyes. And as to you question - I do not drive or own an Alfa. I have owned Lancias and Fiats in the past and will most likely buy another italian classic when finances and time permit.

  • Thats very cool !

I'm also interested in the actual body build. I notice you have a space frame , does it extend all the way through the car?

Do you have a Web site showing the build?

Who designed the space frame and how was it built?

Was it Tig or Mig welded?

what gauge tubing did you use ?

Very nice body work too, is it all glass Steel or both ??

    Thanks

    Sam

  • Thanks m8

There is a 6 point cage inside that connects to the front clip which connects to the chassis which is 4x2 box , the cage is 40mm tube with 4mm walls, front clip is 50mm with 3mm walls all mig welded.

sorry no site just a few build pics, body and kit are all steel.

    Thanks Eddie.

  • Where is the V8 from?

  • Small block ford 302cc, 5ltr from a Ford Torino but the same as a Mustang engine. I will be posting some driving videos in the next couple of weeks.

    Thanks
