I love the idea. It has to be better than the alternative of leaving human scent. I have had a hunter tell me, however, that leaving any kind of new scent behind, be it fresh earth, mud or other, will put the smartest deer on alert. Do you agree? Thanks for the video.
@GodsGreatOutdoors yes that is partially right, to an exten some of the more verteran deer will err on the side of caution and stear clear of anything that is new or a little different. some of them will stay away from you if they see that there is something there but have a lack of something to smell to identify you as well.
Try pure vanilla extract. And the craziest lure ever on private ground in the early seaon deep woods off in the green can. More than one buck got curious for the last time with those
