  • Its such a honor to ride for the soldier and to give the family the support they need and deserve.. I hope to don't mind if I use this on my page to share with other PGRers.. and thank you for putting this together.

  • Im so proud of my fellow Patriot Guard brothers and sisters! Im honored to be a part of them and to be able to serve our soldiers/veterans...

  • I hope some of you patriot guard riders see this comment. Just wanted to say thanks for protecting one of our guys funeral in florida. 1-4 infantry cherokees HOOAH!

  • @OEFvet1986 Thank you for your service OEFvet. I am a Patriot Guard Rider out of the St.Louis area. I think for my fellow brothers and sisters in Flordia would we would agree to say it was a great honor to be able to serve you all. Thank you and God bless~

  • Thank you.

  • STAND FOR THOSE WHO STOOD FOR US.... i say TOTAL RESPECT

  • all of the people who think we should go after the wbc, this will only defeat what we are about.our group is about respect.respect to the fallen, respect to the deploying, respect to the ones coming home.it is their time.wbc means two things to us.1)thanks to reverend phelps and his family, there is us.2) as a veteran,i see one thing when i see the wbc crowd.whenever they spit out their vitrial.i remember ALL of my brothers and sisters who wore the uniform.and i say"WE DID OUR JOB RIGHT!

  • wow, thank you to the riders of the Patriot Guard. Protectors of those who fought and gave everything for us.. Ride on and Ride Safe my friends from your Canadian Neighbor

  • Thank you for what you do, Patriot Guard Riders.

  • these patriot guard riders are awesome. they are the best of america.

  • To all you patriots,I am so very proud of you and all you do.May God bless you each and every day.

  • @alicelafayettelaws

Thank you. We do what we do out of respect for the fallen. Our mission has remained the same over the years.

  • Patriot Guard Riders are awesome

  • Rock on, Patriot Guard! True Americans are ever so thankful for you.

  • It is GREAT to see all of the support for our servicemen and women!

  • God bless these great men!

  • And women too!

  • My first PGR ride restored my faith in the people of this great nation of ours. The respect shown to the young fallen soldier from Gaffney SC (Lance Corporal Christopher Fowlkes) was overwhelming. I still can not describe it without shedding tears, like the tears I shed that day. The movie Taking Chance comes the closest, but still falls far short of what I saw in reality

  • @DKWegley As a PGR member I don't remember anyone ever asking what sex, sexual orientation, color, or religious creed the soldier was. If we are asked to ride for a fallen soldier, veteran, law enforcement, EMT or first responder. We will ride. So please stop basing your replies on on what you THINK and go with the FACTS.

  • @MarcellaRW i dont give a shit. people like them dont deserve to live.

  • There is a special place in Heaven for all the people of this organisation and for what they all do. God Bless you guys for what you do, I am very proud of you guys Keep up th good work

  • @MegaCrazycatt Thank you. You say guys, please don't forget the women of our organization. They are there with us guys on every ride. I am proud to have them with us.

  • I was in the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders today in San Pedro at a Memorial Day event. We can never thank them enough.

  • As a member of the North Carolina PGR I would ask that you not refer to them by name, EVER!! Do not give them credit or publicity.

The best way to take a stand against them is to stand with the PGR at a mission and Respectfully Honor our fallen. Your participation no matter how small or often does more than you know to comfort the family and to let them know they are not alone. I speak with the mother of a KIA in our area and I always let her now we are always thinking of them.

  • @superassassin47 Hello brother NC PGR. Those who have never been or a PGR ride will never understand. I have seen America at its best.

  • @RAYNEALAVERY Seen America at it's best. I have used the very same words to describe the PGR rides I have been on. It restored my faith in the people of this great country of ours.

  • WBC has a sign thats say "God hates fags" im glad that they was talking about them- selfs

  • very nicely done... very heartfelt and touching. i deeply believe in supporting and honoring our soldiers and vets. thanks for sharing the video......

  • God Bless You and the Patriot Guard Riders.

  • Thank you, Marcella. This is one of the better tributes I have seen; it explains the PGR very well.

I am sorry for your loss.

(Update: We are well over 200,000 strong now.)

  • God bless Our Patriot Riders & All of our troops & fallen heroes They are here today in my hometown Of Antioch IL giving Respect to SPC Andrew Wade ,,Much love & Respect to all

  • They will be at Airman Nick Alden's funeral in Anderson SC tomorrow. I thank God for these men. They make sure families can grieve in peace. I will be there to stand on the side of the road waving my flag.

  • They will be at Airman Nick Aldan's funeral in Anderson SC tomorrow. I thank God for these men. They make sure families can grieve in peace.

  • This is inspiring to me. :) I see people saying, "Oh, I would love to come support the family but I have to work that day," whenever someone posts that the WBC will be protesting a funeral. This is truly impressive and the Patriot Riders, in my opinion, are heroes as well.

  • Thank you to the PRG group for protecting the families of my fallen fellow servicemembers. You all have more self control than I would. Is there a way to donate to this group?

  • @mariaofitalia you have go to partiot guard riders .org there the board there they will be able to help you there

plus im a meber of the southern cal partiot guard riders

  • I am a C-17 Loadmaster with the U.S. Air Force. I have had the unfortunate but complete Honor of bringing our fallen from both Iraq and Afghanistan to Germany and then, on to our own soil. It is my sincerest desire to let all know that at EVERY location, your, “Heroes” have received the full military honors that they truly deserve.

May the Almighty bless the families for your losses and to the “Patriot Guard” for doing their duty (again).

  • There are 8 sick people that disliked this video

  • @f328owner Those 8 people can go to hell for all any of us care.

  • Not to worry, they're probably just 8 WBC people and therefore don't count.

  • I'm a veteran, a funeral director and a biker. God Bless the Patriot Guard Riders!

  • I thank each of you who have loved ones who have served our country and died doing it. I salute you and thank each of you. God bless each of you and your families. For those of you who have sons and daughters over there or going over there I salute you also. God bless all of you.

  • These guys sent me off on my current deployment to Iraq. It really did mean a lot to all of us.

  • This just touches my heart. My husband has been a contractor supporting the troops in Afghanistan for the past 10 years since 9/11. He is on a forward base and is in constant contact with our brave men and women. When he talks about them, he gets tear in his eyes. Thank you PGR for what you do. And for those who have lost sons and daughters, God bless you.

  • WHEN are they going to beat the life out of the Kansas Westboro Church wackos...Its long overdue (In my opinion) If it was my son being buried I would have snipers set on every rooftop & take them out once and for all

  • @jpnnh Remember, it's not about them, it's about having a patriotic funeral for a fallen hero. Don't give the WBC what they want, violence so they can sue you. Give the fallen soldier what he deserves, a hero's send off to heaven.

  • @MarcellaRW dead people can't sue though. a little sniper justice will do the trick.

  • This video is to pay homage to the Patriot Guard Riders and the fallen soldiers they protect. It is not about seeking revenge on the WBC, period.

  • @MarcellaRW Thank you Marcella. As a PGR in North Carolina, we don't see the WBC in our area, but we still ride for the soldier. It is about being there for the soldier's family and paying tribute to the soldier. Like it said in one of the news reports( I don't remember if it was ABC or NBC). It said that Carlos Gonzales joined the PGR after we were there for his son's funeral. So instead of a tiny hand full of mourners, it was a hero's goodbye. As every soldiers funeral should be.

  • @MarcellaRW

so true. and im sorry for our loss

  • @jpnnh I understand your view, being a veteran, husband to a veteran, son, brother, uncle and nephew to veterans.

As much as it galls me, I served so these creatures from WBC can spew their hatred. All speech must be protected for freedom to survive.

I am so gratified that the Patriot Guard Riders are doing what they do so magnificently to safeguard the families and friends of the Fallen.

  • A wonderful, and moving video, well done the Patriot Guards, decent and honourable men. May God watch over all the coalition troops in Afghanistan.

  • i do find this interesting. The wbc are a small group preaching thier message of hate saying they are sent there by God. But the Patriot guards (sry for my bad spelling and typos btw) The patriot guards do this act of love and honor and they are growing and growing yet the wbc stays small and hated. Wich one is really being sent there by God?

  • God bless you all.

  • My father just got back from Afghanistan last week, he has to leave to prepare to return tomorrow. We really miss him every year, he's been over there since the beginning. He says the hardest part of the war is losing our protectors, our soldiers. Although i am not a biker, i would like more information about how i can help the patriot guard riders and similar groups, if anyone has any info, please pm me. Thank you to all the soldiers and their families fighting for everyone's freedom.

  • I think what the Patriot Guard riders do is truly amazing, and a very honourable deed that do. Keep up the brilliant work. Karen from Scotland. 'Service not self'

  • I think what the Patriot Guard riders do is truly amazing, and a very honourable deed that do. Keep up the brilliant work. Karen from Scotland. 'Service not self'

  • Thank you for this video, Marcella. And God bless you.

  • It's people like these riders and our warriors that I still feel pride in this country. I still love this land because of people like these that still care for our warriors.

God bless them and the people they watch over.

  • These are truly great Americans. Our family was blessed with their protection and service yesterday, in Seymour, MO, at the military funeral of SFC Robert Pharris. Word is that the Westboro hate group was in town, but when they saw the crowd of over 2,000 strong, they turned and left, and the family never saw them. God bless the Patriot Guard, and know that you have the gratitude of many like me and my family.

  • The Patriot Guard Riders where at the funeral of my 1sgt. in Georgia two years ago, and they where amazing. As we all showed up in our uniforms to lay our fallen to rest they where standing tall with the American flag waving high for all to see. They thanked us as we walked inside the funeral home, However I told them you have no reason to thank us, WE THANK YOU! these men and woman take time from thier lives to show respect and honor to the fallen. I would just like to say thank you once again

  • Who the hell would dislike this? jeez........

  • God Bless our fallen hero's. God Bless the Patriot Guard Riders!

  • I'm very proud to say that my uncle, a veteran, is a member of the Patriot Guard. God bless him and others who is involved in it.

  • It brings tears to my eyes, to see that we still have proud americans who appreciate all that we do, and have our back when it comes down to it. That's what America is all about.

  • Keep this up the ghost guard must protect the funerals of our fallen warriors.

  • This is just what Americans do, which is why I'm proud to serve this country.

  • I have come to understand that WBC plans to protest the funerals of those killed in yesterday's shooting in AZ. You know, where Congresswoman Giffords was shot, and a 9 year old girl, and a federal judge were killed, among others. I only hope that someone contacts the PGR and they can shield the families from WBC again. Esp. the family of the 9 year old.

  • I saw you guys today. Bethalto Illinois. The funeral for Kenny Corzine. Thank you.

  • you guys are awesome! just keep it up! America was built because of people like you and we will continue to strive because of YOU!

  • I'm am a member of the United States Army. Thank you to all the members of the Patriot Guard Riders for your support of our fallen brothers in arms and their families.

  • @misslydiaface thank you for service

  • I just joined the PGR last week and I've been treated with the same respect as if I had been with them all along. They are the NICEST people I've ever met and everything they do is about RESPECT for our soldiers, veterans and their families.

  • i believe God is using the Patriot gaurd to sheild the families from the WBC

Praise God for the Patriot gaurd

  • They are truly a god send, men of dignity and honor.

  • Patriot Guard Riders could be the best biker gang of all time.

  • negetive begets negetive, its a law of life, just be patient and there will be no more protesters

  • @hifatpeople Negitive doesn't ALWAYS BEGET NEGATIVE. Without these assholes there would be no Patriot Guard Riders, of whom I am a proud member. So out of their negative came the positive that is the PGR

  • My father is a veteran so I have always been raised to respect the soldiers...I applaud the Patriot Guard Riders for doing what they do

  • I am proud of all of our soldiers. I pray that they all come home alive and well, but when a soldier gives his or her life for our country it is so nice to know that we have the Patriot Guard Riders to support the soldiers and their loved ones. God Bless you all.

  • am on my way, today, to join with the Patriot Guard in shielding a young wife from Westboro Baptist Church's hate protest at her young husband's funeral - your video has inspired me on this day

    ***

Memorial of Lance Cpl. Matthew J. Broehm, Sat., Nov. 20, at 3:15 p.m., First Baptist Church, 629 W. Grant Avenue, Williams, AZ

    ***

go with God, Matthew, and thank you for your service

  • these guys are the definition of AWESOME

  • You would be ashamed of the Northern Illinois Leadership, they go body shopping even when other org,s have been contacted by the family of a fallen hero. We have several hundred members who have quit the PGR because of the actions of these dishonorable people. As for the rest of you keep up the good work.

  • Patriot Guard Riders 100,000 .... westboro baptist "church" 75. keep it up PGRs. thank you.

  • Logging on, I was going to throw a few rocks at the WBC...

I'd rather just say THANK YOU to the Patriot Guard Riders. God bless you all!

  • god bless the riders. and if you protest a miltary funeral, burn i hell you fucking bastard

  • I am very sorry for your loss. As a member of PGR, I can say it is our honor. Thank YOU!

  • Thank you, Patriot Guard Riders, for keeping the vermin of the WBC at bay.

  • My son has just been deployed to Afghanistan. This is his second deployment. If anything were to happen to him, I would be proud to have the Patriot Guard Riders honor him. It's simply inhumane that other Americans disrespect our fallen men and women in uniform by protesting at their funerals. Thanks to the PGR's for protecting the families of our fallen soldiers from seeing this.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.

  • Thank you jazzer50, and please accept my prayers for your son's safe return.

  • It is our honor to be able to stand in honor of our troops!! God Bless and I pray that your son returns home safe soon!! Thank him for all of us back home for his service in which we greatly appreciate!!!

  • @jazzer50 the royal dutch army from the netherlands europe lost in the last years 27 soldiers all the soldiers had a respect full funeral in the netherlands its forbidden to make a lot of noise nearby chuch and cemetary's such things will as the westboro baptist idiots will not happend here, i hope your son will return save and well greeting from the netherlands

  • @jazzer50 God Bless you and for your son's faithfullness to our country,

  • @jazzer50 they rode for my son cpl michael james jaurigue us army 82nd abd 6june07 I can never thank them enough may god bless all o them

  • America is best country in the world. God bless the USA.

  • Americans can make me so MAD at their crass stupidity....on the flip side...Americans can make me cry with such pride in their show of Love, Honor & Patriotism....Come on America! Lets do our part this November to put in place leaders who can make us Proud of our Country! A country that is worthy of such sacrifice that is shown here. We do have what it takes....Take back our Country!

  • This video brought tears as well as a smile. I am proud to be a member of the PGR and to see comments like most of these makes me even more proud. Also I am so very sorry for your losses.

  • And not to mention the napalm it throws upon the fire in my heart to open fire on the fuckers who are pissing on the name of the military who provided them with the right to even say and rant the horrid unspeakable things they do.

  • I began watching this video just out of curiosity, but by the end of it, the tears were-a-streamin'. I have been to more funerals for my fallen service members than I would ever want to count, but every fucking time I see those mother fucking heartless bastard protesters sporting signs that read unspeakable things that have no relation to the soldier who the funeral was for, it always literally makes me fucking gag..

  • I wanna join the Army but I'm fat :(

  • If anyone isn't sure how to dislike Fred Phelps more watch Nate Phelps: The Grayness of Life. It gives an inside view of the church trust me it will make your spine curl with hatred. May all soldiers rest in peace and these volunteers should be commended.Peace

  • As many times as I have seen this, it still moves me and I am still greatful to you Marcella for doing this awesome video. I am a very proud member of the S.E.Texas Patriot Guard and as many thanks as we get for what we do, we must also remain humble as we keep in mind, that it is not about us but for the Heroes that we stand for. For me it is an honor to stand the flag line next to some of those Heroes themselves.

Blessings to you Marcella and to our military.

  • Thank you so much PGR. It is an honor to have you all to protect those families from the ignorance of the church that gives us Baptist's a horrible name. You have my utmost respect. You all give us American's hope that there are still good people in the world. As for the church, they are not really a church, they are a cult. Baptist Churches believe in loving one another. God Bless our America Soldiers, Fallen and Alive. God Bless PGR. We love you for all that you do. Thank you

  • My brother and I both are part of PGR here in NY State.. Although with me becoming so ill, I cannot ride anymore.. But we still are a MILITARY family.. My brother is a retired Marine and I am an injured Army National Guardsman who was in Desert Storm in early 1990 and was discharged 6 months after being there for a severe ankle injury. I am PROUD to be a part of something that is AWESOME as what we (PGR) do for our soldiers living or otherwise!

Also, we do the carrying of caskets too

  • @ThatKidWithMyHat and i would like to excercise my "freedom of expression" on these shameless idiots.

  • this one dragged a tear or two outta me. good one. thank you soldiers, thank you honor guard.

i have nothing but respect for men who are willing to get shot at because some moron asked them to, in the name of America, and nothing but contempt for those who would put you in harms way for non-honorable reasons.

    thank you all, once more.

there is a special place in heaven for soldiers.

  • Thank you for the video, thank you to the Patriot Guard - I wish I rode...

  • May God bless all of you who have lost our heros in war. As a PGR, I'm proud to watch this and honored to serve you, though it can never compare to yours and especially your soldier's service and sacrifice.

  • first time iv heard of the patriot riders.

im a ex brit (raf regt) soldier who served in iraq and ad mire what you do .thank god we dont need you here but youd be welcome a wotten basset im sure

  • God Bless and thank you.

  • I would love to see a group of regular guys form that are just as patriotic and just as American only drive 1998 Chevy pickups. They could drive long distances put flags on their trucks and go to funerals for people they dont even know.

  • @MANKATO311 Hello Mankato, The PGR also has four wheeled vehicles refered to as "cages". I'm actually one of them. We help in road blocks, make sure other motorists don't pass while escorting, carry flags, water and whatever else is needed. So really, everyone can join. The only requirement is a common love and patriotism.

  • I too am the Mother of a Fallen Soldier. CPL Nyle Yates III, KIA 03/16/06, Samarra, Iraq. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to the Patriot Guard Riders who shielded us from demonstrators at our Heros Funeral. May God protect and bless each and every one of you. We love YOU!!!!!

  • I am so sorry for you loss and on behalf of my nephew Bobby and in memory of your son, thank you!

  • @MarcellaRW

I'm surprised the WBC don't get cited for Civil Rights violations more often,

they are after all, violating the Civil Rights and Liberties of the families of

Fallen Servcemen. With their background as Civil Rights Lawyers,

the WBC should know that. I support Free Speech, the issue is where,

and at a Funeral, it's wrong.

  • @mTruck15 We are very sorry for your loss, my son did 3 tours but he was one of the lucky ones minus his mental wounds.God Bless you and your family.

  • @mTruck15 As a soldier myself, I too am very sorry for your loss and that those demonstrators should hand their heads in shame.

I wish we had a Patriot Guard, but then again in the UK they'd probably arrested and not the protestors.

  • @mTruck15 May God bless & keep your son, our hero, and may He lead your family to healing & peace.

  • So sorry for your loss..........

  • Sometimes it takes a few fanatics to bring out what is truly important in our hearts. God bless the PGR!

  • <---SrA Briones, USAF: Thank you PGR for what you do, keep on riding, God Bless you guys!!!

  • thank you to those who gave us the PGR. WBC is to thank for them and have brought us together. its the only good thing that place has done. and i was just thinking, you think WBC does incest? cuz no true american would ever do what they do.

  • Wonderful group of true heros.....I cam back fro Nam to a crowd throwing rotten fruit ....maybe I'll exit with world surrounded by the Guar.d

  • God bless the PGR!!! Harley Davidson can drown out Fred Phelps's voice with his big loud engine!

  • It's amazing how a hate group like the WBC can bring people together like this.

  • Thank God for the Patriot Gaurd Riders, well over 300 of them went through my town and stopped the protests by WBC on Wednesday. And they were big buff guys that probably saw combat in Vietnam to, I bet they scared the cowards away. They have my full respects.

  • As a PGR member I consider it an honor and a privilege that we are invited to attend the funeral of a fallen soldier. We do not ask what race, creed or gender the soldier was for that doesn't matter. This soldier has given all to protect my freedom, and I consider it personal. I remember the names of the soldiers that I have ridden for and always will. You can NOT go on one of theses rides and come back unaffected or unchanged.

  • @RAYNEALAVERY I witnessed for the first time your presence at one of our own fallen hero's memorial yesterday in our small town/Island, and it was our communities first soldier to have died in this war, I can't tell you what an emotional time it was seeing the group lined up with such honor and respect, you see it loud & clear in you guys, I will never forget it. The love you have for our country and for the ones who fight to keep it our's. THANK YOU from the bottom of MY HEART!

  • @RAYNEALAVERY Bless you.

  • I want those guys in my foxhole...

  • What song is that at 0:45?

    Anyway,

Patriot Guard Riders are the most trustful military escort I've ever seen.

Amazing work. You guys are TRUE patriots.

  • @yesman1761 Jesus Walks - Kanye West

  • You know... whenever some piece of floating shit like Shirly Phelps surfaces in the gene pool there will always be Americans like the PGR to push it right back down where it belongs.

Hats off the PGR. You make us proud to be Americans.

  • Thank you

  • God bless the Patriot Guard Riders for all they do.

  • Above this I see that 8 people did not like what is being said here. I can but feel sorry for such wretched examples of the worst in mankind.

  • As a PGR rider, it has been my most humble honor, to stand for those who have stood for my freedoms. It is but a small service I can render to those fallen heroes whom I have never met, but take them into my heart as my brother. May God Bless our warriors, and may God Bless America.

  • God bless the PGR and all our soldiers.

  • These guys/gals are what we fight for. To all servicemen and women They are seen as TRUE AMERICAN HERO'S.

  • I got to see these boys where i live! i only saw i few but when i got home i heard a bunch of motorcycles and i knew it was them. They are like legends!

  • May 29,2010

I had the opportunity to ride w/my soldier who is soon to leave for his 3rd tour of Iraq, along side the Patriot Guard Riders & several who joined them(what an emotional day). We were in Minden, La,to honor a fallen soldier,Army Sergeant Joshua Tomlinson who was killed in Afghanistan by a road side bomb this month.

Who would have thought that threat effort of the Westboro Baptist Church being in this small little town of La.could bring such a diverse group of people together.

  • All the WBC wishes to do is tear us apart, when in reality all their doing is pushing us closer together.

  • They came to the funeral of SPC Jason Fingar yesterday....Awesome group.

  • God bless your nephew and all those who have given the ultimate sacrifice!

  • beautiful, there are no other words to say..god bless these bikers!!!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL..THERE ARE NO OTHER WORDS TO SAY..GOD BLESS THESE BIKERS!!!!!

  • absolutely beautiful...no other words to say

  • i am glad someone put this video togather...it made me cry...I am a Minister of the Gospel, and despise the WBC this labor day i will be at the annual laying of the reef in Arlington VA with a dozen or so that have volunteered to help me hold flags and posters declaring thank you to the troops and God Bless the usa...WE plan to drownd out the wbc by singing the national anthem!!! i hope to be able to put up a video!!!

  • As I watched this video, I cried. People need to remember that with out the sacrifice these men & women in our armed forces, we wouldn't have the freedom's we have now. Thank you to all our service persons, past & present, for what you do for us. And thank you P.G.R. for what you do for your service men and women.

  • Hi America, first generation American here in San Diego. I don't have a Harley or never served in the military but I have the deepest respect for our military. Their commitment has kept America safe for generations while we sleep. On Veterans Day or Memorial Day I walk the grounds at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery to let them know we have'nt forgotten. I have also walked on Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery to give thanks. This Memorial Day say a prayer for our fallen and thank a P.G.

  • Respect

  • Thank God for the PGR. Ride on brothers and sisters. On steel horses or to beyond, you will always be in my heart.

  • God bless each and every one of you who is associated with the Patriot Guard!!!

  • THANK YOU ALL! You are a tribute to this country. I have shown my children several videos of Patriot Guard and told them that this is truly loving God and taking care of our fellow man. Just makes me feel good to watch this. Thanks Marcella, for posting this triibute and for your family's sacrifice. We owe Soldiers like Bobby thanks for all of our freedoms.

  • i had no idea about the PGR until i saw this video. you guys are absolutely amazing people. what you do for our fallen soldiers is beyond amazing. i hope one day i come across a member of the PGR and get the chance to shake there hand. keep doing what your doing and god bless every one of you. thank you

  • we will travel to defend our heros honor

  • If you don't want to stand behind our troops PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!
