I agree you lose all the flavour of this series if you dub it into another language. In Germany and in France especially, there's a big tradition of dubbing films, series, etc. because people are less often able to speak English, whereas you do in Netherlands and, to a lesser extent, in Belgium. (Even though the French-speaking part undergoes less English influence than Flanders.) Dubbing doesn't make sense when applied to "regional" series (I mean about specific communities).
