This is one of my favorite episodes. A scene from this story was referenced (and adapted) in "Sherlock", in the Hound episode. It was cool to be able to recognize the scene. Wonder if anyone here can?

@kamwrites I think I can :) It was the scene with a bet. In the story Holmes was betting with the seller about the goose, and in the episode, Holmes pretended that he made a bet with Watson about the hound to extract information from the tourist guide.

I also like the way they adapted the beginning scene from "The adventure of Black Peter" :)

Love this scene, although it's funny because I believe Doyle's stories always had Holmes as an early riser. Watson remarks in "A Study In Scarlet" that Holmes had often already ate breakfast and gone out by the time he'd wake up in the morning. Still, it's a very funny scene, and I love how he's not even awake for twenty seconds and already lighting up. LOL!!
