I tried & tried & tried & could never get into this album, it sounds worse than local bands demos who spent $100 to mix their home recordings... its like a lousy live recording, where the vocals are completely lost... where is Geoff Rickley on this album?

I'm not too keen on how they mixed the vocals, but this is pretty good. I've not really heard anything from them since Collapse though, so what do I know. It's weird for me to think of how big they are now - I only saw them once, when they were just starting out and releasing Waiting. There were maybe forty people in the venue, and it was really raw and intense. Not bragging, it's just funny how you never know which little band at a club will blow up in a few years to mtv status.

this is a good song but there are better from common existance but war all the time was better. this cetainly wasn't their best video if anything it was at this velocity that was their best video. you can't just give up on common existance just because you heard one bad song there's atleast one bad song on every album (in my opinion).

It's a nice video. Though I must admit, I'm pissed that we can't see the whole band. Thursday is THE BAND with an awesome vocallist, not THE FRONTMAN+unirrevelent rest of the band.

And, most of all, I think that Circuits of Fever isn't the best song for a single. Common Existence hasn't got any weak points, but I'd choose Friends In The Armed Forces. Or As He Climbed The Dark Mountain, If it hadn't been on split with Envy before.

I think thursday are better off than ever on Epitaph,they are no longer watered down and marketed as a commercial 'emo','screamo' or 'HardxCore' contempory of Sense Fail etc. and Common Existance is brilliant

Epitaph is one of the best large independant labels,Victory is probably the worst and Island is crap (its a major).

my only problem is - Its really hard to find the new music videos.

Thursday has been my favorite band for the past 8 years but I have to say most of their music videos are awful. This video on the other hand, is perfect. Very simple, flows with the song very well, one of their best. This is my favorite song off of Common Existence, which has also become my new favorite album from them. After all these years it's nice to see that they're still mixing things up & trying new things. Whoever said they suck live must be blind...their live show is amazing.

I think that "In Silence" is the best and "Cross Out The Eyes" close behind. This vid is pretty good though, i don't really like the song eventhough Thursday is my favorite band.

I like the artsy weirdness of "cross out the eyes". It's got a suspense indie film vibe to it. This one is good too but i don't like Circuits as a song very much.
