This cover is of an odd style for him. Very produced, if you know what I mean, what with the treating of his vocals. I like it (hey, it's Mika, and I like everything he does), even if it isn't usually like him to do something like this. But, as he maintains, changing your style is the best way to stay in the music world's good graces.
