Piloten worden zwaaar overgewaardeerd. Het is maar een 2-jarige HBO opleiding en in het dagelijkse werk hoef je zo goed als geen zak te doen. Op 200ft gaat de autopilot aan, dan is het uuuuren vliegen en checklisten afwerken en op final approach op 200ft gaat de autopiloot weer af en wordt er geland. Dus wat doet de piloot nu werkelijk: start, checklist, checklist, checklist, checklist, checklist, landing. Zwaar overgewaardeerd en overbetaald. Zelf nadenken hoeft een piloot niet.

Ik heb het even opgezocht en de FAA staat het niet toe om foto's te maken als de parking brake er niet op staat... Misschien iets om over na te denken...

Mooi man, ArkeFly zo te zien. Ik weet niet of het altijd geld maar ik kan mij ergens vaag herinneren dat het foto's maken door piloten niet is toegestaan als de park brake er niet op staat. De Captain maakt duidelijk een foto terwijl de kist rolt... nogmaals ik weet niet zeker maar als 't zo is kun je dat stukje d'r beter uit halen denk ik.

In ieder geval geweldig om te zien, top!

Awsome! Just like how I takeoff my 757! Only instad I engage the VNAV instead of the EPR during T/O, however have full manual control of my thrust. I rather do it by manual then by auto

@MrAirplaneSpotter That's not a KLM airplane, it's a B767 so that would be Arkefly ;-) Tip: If you want to get into the cockpit ( jumpseat ) you should try Transavia, they're known to be it a bit easier on the 'jumpseatrules' compared to other airlines around the world :) @ Jeroen: Fortaleza, that means you would have a relief pilot aboard, would that be you? Considering another person on the flightdeck
