While I believe Peak Oil (Production) theory is mostly sound, I feel like the idea of Peak Oil (Consumption) is not addressed.

In fact, demand is largely financed by the expansion of credit which has collapsed even more spectacularly!

Oil and Gold have both been destroyed in the brief time that the US Dollar has ROCKETED upward, all dictated by the collapse in credit.

What will buck that trend? "The FED will print!" They have LOANED, only a $T or 2.. But Meanwhile $T Dozens have evaporated.

Hmmm. Hybrid cars pollute a great deal during manufacturing and the batteries aren't necessarily safe. Imagine eliminating cars altogether! Automobile pollution will drastically decrease!
