  • They're Orin and Okuu.

  • unbef*ckinglievable

  • i want a crow..

  • Пацаны, это же Якоб и Мяурицио из Вуншпунша!

  • They're both dead now, and probably so are the old people.

  • Humans must learn humanity from animals. They are always teaching us lessons of kindness, solidarity and compassion.

  • Awww I love that couple.

  • This story is now a children's book. We bought them at Barnes & Noble. Really beautiful story for the entire world. Happy Thanksgiving!

  • this would be a good cartoon :)

  • Animals are better persons than humans!

  • @VlikeVince777 really true

  • So cool.

  • Love has no borders. Wish human kind could learn from all this u.u

  • there is an update video of this .The woman has passed away and cassie was 10..I think it was in 2008..the older man still takes care of cassie. The crow disappeared after 4 yrs...it would tap on the window for cassie to come out..I would like to see it but can't find it on youtube...

    NATURE KNOWS WHAT IT DOES....

  • What a lovlely friendhsip!

  • I forgot to say the title of the new children's book. It's Cat and Crow: An Amazing Friendship by Lisa Fleming.

  • @sandrazenwriter i want to get that book! this is one of the cutest things i've ever seen. people shouldn't use the word ''birdbrain'' as an insult because some birds like crows are very smart and i keep chickens as pets and they are not dumb like people say they are. i love the cat in this video too and i have 5 cats as pets also. and i can't leave out my 3 dogs either.

  • The story of the cat and the crow is now an illustrated children's book. It's beautiful! You can get it at Barnes & Noble.

  • Like so many uplifting stories, this one starts with cruelty and heartbreak.

  • Thats CUTE

  • That's freekin amazing!

  • beautiful story!

  • This brought tears to my eyes. ;D

  • It was on baziar animial friends nice video good quality

  • Wow, never seen that before.

  • the cat and crow resemble a street hooker and pimp... crows have never been known for anything good.

  • Why are people always applying human values to animals? That cat would rip the crow's guts out and eat them if it were smaller

  • @IEatManure OMFG. Dude be carefull to watch Paris Hiltons healthcare, because if she dies then you are the dumbest human being on earth.

  • To the redneck, droopy, dumb fuck old people who are strange and terrible - you SUCK so bad you fucking closeted psychos.

  • the cat and crow. both must be dead now ='(

  • What is the sad ending? I don't remember. It was a while ago....Thanks.

    lulu

  • @LynneRayburn The crow wandered off after years of playing together. Ann passed away a few years ago and Wally and Cassie are doing great. The fly to Florida every winter and back to Mass in the spring. There is a children's book coming out in October detailing their relationship.

  • Excellent movie

  • lol the crow thought the cat was its baby

  • I am inviting to my channel to the playlist Other and see the film paralysing the cat very much funny. I am inviting to comment

  • meoww :) cats are very cute.

  • 0:30 that cat predicted 9/11

  • Karas and Yurine XD

  • Crows are noisy messy pests.. they flip your wheelie bin lids open and tear into the rubbish, but good road kill scavangers.

  • aneh2 aje :D

  • This is so sweet <3

  • I think i peed my pants when i saw the owners...they scared the living daylights outta me

  • i have a black cat and when she sees crows she gets mad cuz she thinks theyre just like her but they have wings lol

shes like "WHY CANT I FLY?!?!?!"

  • thats so cool!! omg!!!!

  • In my town here ar many crows.Thy are breeding in old trees an the make-sorry-shit all over where they ar sitting, and often "fight" about breeding-places.

I "know" a very old crow (some people say its around 40!)

She is starring always at me when i watch her and her others..

Sometimes she is scraming, and i can hear some "Words" in it.

I must search her and look and hear and make then a Video of her.

  • ...but one day Cassie came over when the cat was very hungry....

  • I bet he tells the kitten tales of Sugarcandy Mountain and it's purported existence...

  • "I clink clay'll always be best friends."

  • eventually the crow became a republican, and the cat a libertarian.

now they are mortal enemies forever. The End.

  • @katsumorymoto Dammit. That was mean. You ruined the whole nice cat-and-crow tale.

  • Now THAT'S a Great Tale!

  • Crows are smart. I bet he was trying to lure the kitty onto the road so he could eat the resulting roadkill.

  • Ok, sooooo if you guys paid attention to the whole story, the couple DID NOT separate them. They tried to get the crow to come inside sometimes, but the crow never warmed up to the idea. They DID let Cassie out to play with Moses when he pecked on the window. Eventually Moses went off with other crows. They weren't torn apart ;-)

  • @zelos100 Yep!

They make it clear that, while the cat was given a fine home, the Crow only wanted to visit and see his friend, and never really cared to come inside, except to let the owners know to let the cat out.

  • @Goatmon do you know where the update version is ..its so sweet...the old man is wonderful and holding cassie..She is nice and healthy...god bless the two...I hope there are children to take over cassie's care if the man goes to yonder.....

  • Stupid old dumb-asses. Fuck you for taking the cat inside and breaking the friendship. Fuck you.

  • @Swelackattack You do know that they still let the cat out everyday until the crow presumably passed away?

  • Yea cat and crow

  • "Every morning at 6:00, the crow named Moses would peck at their screen door looking for his friend. Cassie and Moses would spend hours frolicking outside until night arrived. What's even more amazing is that Moses had a family in a nearby tree and yet he still pursued Cassie every day. The routine went on for five years and then one day, Moses just never showed up anymore. Considering that crows only live about seven years in the wild, it is believed that Moses died."

  • This is realy cute.

  • cute ^^

  • I wonder if the cat caws.....

  • Both of them devil

  • LMAO this was filmed on my fith birthday party :D

  • Despite the politics behind the accuracy of this story, I think it's amazing how the two different animals got along!

Off that topic, I love cats and own 4 beautiful ones. they have the same 5 parts of the brain that we humans have, so they are pretty smart.

  • That crow looks like a young one, its mouth isn't black like an adult

  • "Like so many up-lifting stories, this one begins with cruelty and heartbreak"

    Wait, what!?

  • animal are smarter than some racist asshole

  • 60 people don't have a friend like crow ^^

  • if that cat gets hungry u know what will happen

  • "Humanitarian" benevolence? No, animals are more benevolent than we are.

  • awww poor kitty! thats y i <3 crows!!!

  • that is so cool

  • crows are actually smarter than cats so i'm not surprised.

  • Good thing that cat was black, otherwise that crow would have peck that cat's eyes out.

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome video, because it's super awesome.

  • amazzing very amazzing

  • 1:32 - "STFU make me a sammich"

  • Second only to ravens, crows are the most intelligent birds on the planet (as some of you are obviously aware already). But cats are up there too. Both are intelligent, capable of some pretty sophisticated problem-solving. We're simply not the only animals having the awarenss and the intelligence to make friends with other animals.

  • Amazing!!!!!!!

  • Just to show crows are 10 times more curious than cats...

  • Crow win. A cat bodyguard.

  • I love to see brothers and sisters looking out for one another. That's the way it should be not contrary stop tearing down each other.

  • Don't mess with Crows (aka Ravens), they are quite clever...

  • cool friends ;)

  • cool friends ;)

  • cool friends ;)

  • Sweet :3

  • till the cat eats the bird, thanks for saving... and feeding me

  • I watched this story and these videos on TV in Australia. I was horrified to find out that the people who took these videos went on to claim the cat as their own and separated the cat from the crow. The crow continuted to knock on the glass door of the house looking for the cat for 4 years. How can people be so cruel and selfish to separate these two friends. This beautiful story has a very sad ending thanks to the selfishness of these people.

  • @jaykulls i agree they are so evil to break their friendship

  • @jaykulls Youre a liar.... Do us all a favor and shut up

  • @Seigu007 I saw the full story on 60 minutes. The cat was a stray, so they made it their pet and left the crow outside, thus unable to get to the cat. The crow continued to peck at the window for "a couple of years" before giving up. You tell me what part of that makes me a liar?

  • @jaykulls It sounds like the crow would let on the window, and they'd let the cat out to play. One day the crow just never came back to play with the cat. If you do a search for "cassie the cat and moses the crow" there's an article :P

  • @jaykulls Horrific indeed!!

  • @jaykulls wow, motherfuckers...

  • @jaykulls The video sorta says that at 1:50...

  • @jaykulls How do you know the cat and the bird (actually a raven, not a crow) were separated? That's really sad if it's true :(

  • @13luckyblackcat A raven and a crow are actually the same bird. Different names, from different places. I saw it on 60 minutes. However in retrospect it wasn't really made clear if the cat could get out of the house or not. They said the bird tapped on the window for a few years and eventually gave up. But having a cat myself I know what they're like. If the heater is on in the lounge and the cat is lying in front of it, I may as well not exist.

  • @jaykulls That really sucks :(

  • @jaykulls From what I read, they took the cat in but never actually separated her from the crow. The crow knocked at the door every day and they hung out. This lasted until the crow died. Then one day the cat went missing. Seems like the crow and cat were together until the end, so not really all that sad an ending.

  • @AlexGSavchuk You just made all that up!!!

  • @jaykulls Haha no, look up "Cassie and Moses" in Google and click on the Sun Chronicle link.

  • @AlexGSavchuk I tried the link, it doesn't seem to work. I would like to know, I seem to get a lot of messages about the old "Cassie and Moses" saga.

  • @jaykulls "The Collitos of course took the kitten in and named her Cassie. Every morning at 6:00, the crow named Moses would peck at their screen door looking for his friend. Cassie & Moses would spend hours frolicking outside until night arrived ... The routine went on for five years and then one day, Moses just never showed up anymore. Considering that crows only live about seven years in the wild, it is believed that Moses died."

  • @AlexGSavchuk Well, that goes against what they said on 60 minutes.

  • @jaykulls I'd trust a local reporter over 60 Minutes.

  • @jaykulls I was going to say the same thing, especially after that part where the presenter says " Eventually, Cassie learned to love and trust the couple"... they literally grabbed her, locked her in their house and she tried to escape everyday

  • @jaykulls that makes me fuckin sick. wut happened to the crow?

  • @jaykulls I am from Australia as well, but anyway, where in that video was something about a separation of those two? I didn´t see it. They stayed friends forever! It´s all fine :)

  • @jaykulls

    Is that true?

WHAT A PAIR OF EVIL, CRUEL, FAT CUNTS.

    LOL @ 1:05 - yummy leg.

  • @jaykulls They did not keep them separated. The crow disappeared after some time. Where did you get your information from that they were separated. If you do not want to reply here, feel free to email me through here.

  • @jaykulls STOP LYING!!!

  • @itubenowplease completely opposite of the point of this video...

  • Классно!!!!!!))))))))

  • How sweet!! Its a message to us all!! If a Cat and Crow can get on? So special to see,x

  • Anyone who doesn't love this has no soul. So beautiful.

  • aawww

  • I think it's great!!!

  • Why am i not surprised that a Touhou Project reference led me here?

  • 56 people have no soul. Seriously, how can you dislike this video?

  • lie

they ar layer this fucking oldi monkie

  • Cat is a intelligent creature, immediate conclusion was "bird to big to be eaten",then no danger, lets to be a friends, raven known as smart conclude the same.

  • 56 people won't find true love

  • OMG, when the crow gently holds the cat's foot in his beak!! :D YAY

  • what sort of creatures are the owners? look like pugs.

  • Who can dislike this??

  • that is not a crow, animal planet should know that! Crows have yellow beaks, that is a raven

  • @diabolus18175 Actually, that is an American Crow. Some species of Blackbirds have yellow beaks, but crows do not. Ravens are slightly different from crows as well. They're larger and their beaks and tails are shaped differently. ;)

  • that is so cute

  • What happens when a retarded crow meets a retard cat??????

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW

  • wow!

  • animals are amazing :)

  • good friend huh ^^!

  • For sale..... 1Useless Cat. That Crow is not playing with that cat he is trying to figure out the best to blind it, kill it and eat it.

  • @BlackCountryPuddler: Bah, you people always tries to seek the most negative in nature when you see something that looks beautiful as this. Hopefuly you are wrong and/or was just kiding ^^.

  • Crow didn't seem to like being tackled

  • Wooow, amazing!!

  • 1:32 you gonna be burned if you play with fire..

  • How does a crow know about the proper care of a newborn kitten?

  • One day the cat will bite the hand opps, I mean beak that feeds him

  • Corvids (i.e. crows / ravens) are HIGHLY intelligent birds.

They are known to utilize tool making behaviours and have been documented as showing signs of "play" for the sole reason of self amusement.

    Check out the book:

"In The Company Of Crows and Ravens" by J. Marzluff and T. Angell (2005)

    or

"Mind Of The Raven" by B. Heinrich (2007)

    Enjoy!

    trollcrusher242

  • @trollcrusher242 They are also supreme song bird wiper outers. Lamb killers and eye pecker outers. They will blind, and eat alive, a newborn lamb starting at the anus and working in. Ten / twenty will wait for the mother to give birth and then move in. When their numbers get up there they are worse than locusts. Which happens when idiots feed them on a continual basis in an urban environment. You never see any song birds where their numbers are artificially high. They get wiped out in the nest

  • @BlackCountryPuddler

    This is news to me.

    Disturbing ... yes.

    Interesting ... indeed.

I have a difficult time accepting that they are lamb killers in that they would actively seek out and consume a newborn lamb to kill, *unless* there happened to be some type of anomaly in their access to their normal food sources.

I mention this not to discredit you in any way ... it is just hard for me to fathom. However, with them being so intelligent, I can see where this would be the exception,

  • rather than the rule.

Sort of lends credence to the term used to describe a gathering of crows as "a murder of crows".

    Doesn't it?

Thanks for the imput once again.

    ;-)

  • @trollcrusher242 Google it Put in "Wales Lamb Crow attacks" or Crows attack newborne lambs .. ravens are even worse. We shoot every one we see. We have to they blind the newborne when it is halfway out of the mother and take the eyes and the tongue. Its a cruel words in the countryside mate.

  • @BlackCountryPuddler

And this is commonplace in the Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands region where you reside?

Hmmm. Will have to investigate the Wales Lamb Crow Attacks / Crows Attack Newborn Lambs vids or info.

I do have a fondness for both crows and ravens as they are extremely intelligent creatures. Sad to hear that you shoot them, however, if you are a rancher or farmer, I can see where they may throw a spanner in the gears of one's livelyhood.

    ;-)

  • @trollcrusher242 I don't live in Pitcairn it is a "Joke"Hardly any people live there They are the descendants of HMS Bounty. From the movie "Mutiny on the Bounty". Crows are intelligent that is the problem. The afterbirth attracts them and if a full coat sheep goes on its back and gets stuck Crows will tongue / eyes and gut the Ewe alive if no one helps her up but not often.Just nature. Its what they do.Nature is not warm and fuzzy. Its nasty at times. Crow in the vid want to eat the cat. LOL

  • @BlackCountryPuddler: I think that nature CAN be warm and fuzzy at times. For example, when lion cubs wats to play with their mother ^^ or when gorilla babies are being cleaned by their mother ^^(which is one of monkey's most important social behaviors). But yes, nature can be traitorous at times but it doesn't mean you can't survive in it(as long as you know with what means). Point is, not at all times does another predator wants to eat someone who they recognise as their friend.

  • @BlackCountryPuddler: But most of the times, it happens unfortunately and when a lion doesn't want to eat a gazelle, and instead treats them as a friend, is a very rare sight : /. So you're right, nature isn't always a comfortable place.

  • @Khornedevotee Its a good thing its a rare sight. If it wasnt, lions would be extinct by now.

  • @JustSiouxMe: Very true. And we all love our beloved, but savage, friends of the savanah now don't we? :)

  • @JustSiouxMe: It's nice to see that people are trying to help the lion in any way they can as well :D.
