When I was little, I always thought he looked more like a garbage can than a tornado for some reason. Anyways, I remember a couple polygon-based episodes where he won, and one number-based episode where he won. But it is only a handful of times. I remember one with rectangles where after he wins Mr Glitch says "There's no such thing in life as a free game".
In the good old days kids shows weren't afraid to throw in occasional comments that would go over their heads. I noticed Sesame Street did that up until about 1991 or 1992 (remember the Jazzy Spies and the clumsy chef?). It made our generation think a lot more than today's (I'm guessing the two of us are the same generation). Today's kids shows repeat stuff to them as if trying to teach a parrot to talk.
That kinda remindes me, do you remember when in game shows (like mid-80s Wheel of Fortune) there were synthesizer sound effects everywhere? As a result, I ended up having some pretty weird dreams, like the CBS eye logo yelling something at me in a "language" comprised from synthesizer beeps from inside the TV.

Replying to your other comment seems to give me some freaky car crash sound effect BTW.

why did they make it unimportant when he won? it's like the creators enjoyed losing video games more than winning.

Mathman won a few other ones, too, usually he gets a free game afterwards.

Haha, dude, every time I saw it as a kid, he always lost. And at two or three years old, that little tornado guy was SCARY!!! lol.

Haha, that's like, way too metaphorical for a kids show!

Oh I know! It's really funny for me to watch the reruns of some of those shows and catch some of those comments.
I actually really miss the game shows on Nick, like Double Dare and Legends Of The Hidden Temple.

I do remember that! I kinda miss that era. Saying that makes me feel like I'm calling myself old, even though I'm not, lol.
Haha, that is a pretty crazy dream, but I think a dream like that would amuse me more than anything, lol.

I remember that I loved these little Mathman cartoons. Although, back then, I didn't understand that they were a parody of Pacman!

On the episode I took it from (224), it was between parts 1 and 2 of the Dirk Niblick where Mr. Beazley had been swindled by a car salesman.
tiradorfranco2 4 years ago
Yeah, and the question is, Mr. Franco...
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO UPLOAD THE DIRK NIBLICK EPISODES?
What's so wrong with putting them up? I think the people deserve
to relive their Math Brigade memories (not to mention pay homage to
Gary Owens and the late Jim Thurman).

They had this once in the second season in 224 and twice in the third season in 329 and 337.
