  • ooops...not their best version is it?

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • holy jim morrison. Ian only fronted the doors for a few years, after 2003

  • This is how it should be done.

  • They also performed "Love Removal Machine" on the same show, but I haven't been able to find it posted yet.

  • MMMMMMMMMMMM ;]

  • Hell Yeah! Lovin that song

  • Billy's got killer tone on this one. The tempo is just about right as well, not too fast so there's a groove.

  • !!! HELL YEAH !!! RoCk ON !!!!

  • Ian looked OK here, but when I saw him at the Starland Ballroom a couple months ago he came out with this terrible bun...

  • Simply put: Great!

  • Ian still looks great...tougher.....sounds just the same....and they still rock one of my favorite summertime songs like it was yesterday !!! ELECTRIC !!

  • SCREW MORRISON..

I WANT IAN TO DO ME..

    NOW!!!!

MY FAVORITE BAND FOREVER AND EVER..

I WANT HIM OVER CHRIS CORNELL EVEN!!

    sigh..

    IAN..

  • mmmmmmmmmmmm

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

  • Sounds like they're playing it tuned a half-step down. Ian must be having trouble hitting the high notes these days.

  • They started tuning a half step down back in 1991 and then went full fledged in 1994, all their old material got tuned down a half step. It wasn't because of Ian.

  • THey started in 89... in 2001 they played tuned normaly.

  • You're missing the point. It was a response to the poster who claimed the down tuning was a problem with Ian's ability to hit the notes anymore. Sonic Temple is in standard tuning, though. Although, yes the Wembley gig from that tour was tuned half step down. But on album it was 1991 with Ceremony.

But the bigger point I was making: it was a musical decision to tune down, not because of Ian's voice.

  • @LovroPAsperger2 they used Drop D a lot during that period and Eb

  • you can see the years of coke and whiskey in Ian s face

  • Yeah ~ but they could still rock.

  • shut the fuck up

  • I'll second that. The resemblence is quite uncanny!

  • CULT is the best band ever. Wild Flower is such a classic.

  • Yes they rocketh

  • mr Ian aflojale a los postres man..la banda suena bastante ok.

  • A tight performance here, Billy has a great guitar tone.

  • The Cult! British metal at it's best!

  • I love the Cult!

  • saw them live on 5th of june in ahoy where they opened for The Who, i never heard of the band before, but i must say i was blown away when i heard them play.

  • That is the first time I heard someone say that they have never heard of The Cult before.

  • Frank Sinatra??? Ian's voice is very unique dude, Frankie was great but The Cult is better!!!!

  • 2007. 06. 25. Budapest...and the sky's open and the grown men crying! :)

  • Starting to sound like Frank Sinatra

  • so happy ill see them live soon!!! yes!

  • VivWoman i am from Argentina,and I LOVE YOU

  • Stop writing shit about them, they ROCK HARD!!!

Who cares if he's hair is short or long? Fat or thin?!

C'mon, it's really all about THE MUSIC!!!

Support what you LOVE(d), they haven't changed.

    Stop writing that crap!

    The Cult FOREVER!!!

  • The Cult is one of the best bands that came out of the 1980s. Just have to live the fact that there are people have bad tastes in the world. The Cult will forever rock.

  • your right, it's the music period that moves me I couldn't give a fuck what they looked like

  • good grief when did I an get fat?

  • probably when he was doin the Doors Vh1 thing..he had to chub up like Morrison got....cause recent stuff Ian is back to skinny...but, damn he was soooo hot in the 80's...and yes, they still rock..even though i'm a hard core punker..i have always loved The Cult...i loved Southern death Cult...love Ian's hair back then..he was like 18 lol

  • When he started trying to be Jim Morrison. :-{D=

  • This band used to be so good sounds like a shit cult cover band!!!

  • The Cult fucking rocks. They just deliver the goods. There's too many shallow viewers out there that only care about how everyone looks. Who cares. The music is the MEAT!!!!

  • I agree, but when you have seen 'em live with Billy on lead etc, it's a whole lot better.

  • I did last spring, and it was a whole lot better!!!

  • good man

  • yeah dotcanada is right its not about his hairstyle its about the music if you just like a band because of their style just to look cool then like something else cause this is real rook and i know half the kids out there and their ''screamo'' music is just to look cool but its not

  • Well at least they can play in time.

  • the cult still rock. and what guy sux trupo. you say you like old cult well hes the same singer what are you talkin about?

  • they are keeping good rock alive

  • Algunos no teneis pero ni puta idea de nada o que..?

  • You people talk about his hair a lot. WHO CARES??

Someone once asked him if he would grow it back. You know what his response was? He said, "I thought it was about the music."

One thing he is NOT is a 'sell-out'.

  • Well said my friend.

  • Stop picking on Ian ... dude's got skillz on the tambourine! He's even better than Linda McCartney ... love the Carl Reiner Intro

  • Is that IAN--OMG!! What happened to him?? Time to replace Kirstie Alley on the Jenny Craig ads. Billy still looks godhead, though.

  • they're so down!

Ian with short hair isn't so nice...

I prefer the studio's Video Clip.

  • I am an old Cult fan so I am sorry to say, that guy sux major ass.

  • What guy?

  • The Jim Morrison thing is starting to seriously creep me out. And where is that dreamy guitar intro?! WTF!

  • the reason for the Morrison thing is that Ian went on tour with the Doors for a while and did a pretty damn good job at it.
