You're over simplifying the issue. If one flower farm sees the other farm is obtaining an unfair advantage by hiring illegal immigrants that farmer doesn't have to hire illegal immigrants. Are we to assume that all of the mexican workers in restaruants or on construction sites are illegal immigrants? I personally don't do anything about this problem because I don't know if the people working in these places are illegal immigrants or not. It's not my place to find out. Yes, some do pay taxes. Strange aint it, when corporations set up illegal workers with fake social security numbers so everything seems like they are operated legally, but they aren't. These workers pay taxes into a system at the request and benefit of the corporation. So the corporation seems to have their asses covered.

They had no choice in coming to this country. Sending them back will be inhumane.

There's a difference between what's right, and what's an unfortunate truth.
Sending an adult(18+) back to the country where they were born and know nothing about is inhumane. I've been living in the US for 7 years now. I can't see myself ever moving back to Trinidad to live. Trinidad is a nice place, but it doesn't provide the college courses that I desire.
Also keep in mind that some of these countries are not English speaking countries. Most of these immigrant children don't know their native language and even though some of them do, it's barely enough to get by.

Yes, some do pay taxes. Strange aint it, when corporations set up illegal workers with fake social security numbers so everything seems like they are operated legally, but they aren't. ya anyone who breaks a countries laws is taking that risk and should expect to have to deal with consequences when they are caught. corruption in mexico is not the fault of the united states and it is not their responsibility to deal with someone elses poor starving population.

Since we prop up some of the most terrible regimes on Earth, they're bound to go corrupt, and when their people attempt to stop it, it ends up in an enormous f&^% up and we pretend like if it is their fault... Some of the most brutal regimes we proped up include many Latin American countries, Iran, the Philippines, Cuba before Castro, Egypt, and even al-Qaeda...

Also, Mexico was independent from Spain when we invaded the country... Sure, there were people of Spanish descent, but there were also many mixed-race people and natives (not necessarily "primitive" natives). The territories the American Southwest became part of Mexico after its independence in 1821. And since nobody else had claims over that territory, it naturally belonged to the newly formed country of Mexico, of course, until we stolde it from them through 1846-1848

The reason why it was theft what we did in the Mexican-American War was because we wanted their territory but they didn't wanted to give it up. It's like if you have $1 million and I want you to give me $900 thousand, but you don't want to give them to me. And it's not like Mexico wanted to invade us: they had their own problems to worry about.

I would love immigration laws to be enforced, but the difference between me and the racists parading on FOX news is that I understand why one would come to this country illegally so I know the solution to the problem.
I never said a legal citizen would be paid $40 dollars to wash dishes. They would be paid at least minimum wage though.

No it doesn't make it okay, but there should be some sort of real solution put on the table. For instance, the DREAM act which will pave a way to citizenship for undocumented children who have grown up in this country and know nothing about their birth country. They had no choice in coming to this country. Sending them back will be inhumane.
That's a lazy conclusion. Yes many terrorists and warmongers are of the Muslim faith. That doesn't make it right to say Muslims are the problem though.

Sending an adult(18+) back to the country where they were born and know nothing about is inhumane. I've been living in the US for 7 years now. I can't see myself ever moving back to Trinidad to live. Trinidad is a nice place, but it doesn't provide the college courses that I desire.
Also keep in mind that some of these countries are not English speaking countries. Most of these immigrant children don't know their native language and even though some of them do, it's barely enough to get by.

And stop making it seem as though these kids would steal resources from the country if they were legalised. Most of them are struggling through college and doing better than the citizens of this country who get grants and scholarships. These kids just want to live normal lives and give back to the USA.

I never heard this alleged complaint that illegal immigrants are 'taking our scholarships' before. about the 'illegal immigrants are taking our jobs', this is true. let me put it this way, I don't blame them but the bottom line is, if they were not here more americans, in particular, black americans, would have jobs. it is a well known fact that these businesses do not hire blacks because they would rather hire a spanish speaking immigrant who can communicate with the rest of the staff
