Would be nice if you could give us some pointers in approaching new songs by ear. It would be nice to see how you interpret some songs and the process. Do you learn the melody and then try and match up the chords? I do it this way, but is there a more effective way to do it? You do it so damn well.

Nope, I think I've only gotten one of them done in one take. This one in particular took 2 or 3 takes (can't remember). The melody takes me about 20 minutes to memorize, once I have it memorized then I do a take. So usually a screwup is because I forgot how the verse went or something like that. I'll make tutorials soon...
