@Shadowmoddersguild Blood doesn't bother me either. Because of its color and the fact that it's the essence of life, it adds violence and a dark feel to where it's put. @DickWallace You know when you slit a pig's throat? The blood that comes out isn't crystal clear. The things coming out of the guy's stomach, along with the blood aren't organs. Maybe they're blood impurities. But I still agree with you, though. Sometimes I really don't understand where they get all the organs, and the limitless supply of blood coming out of someone.

@blibble321 Um, I didn't, but I saw somebody do it. It's supposed to be some sort of tradition here in Portugal. You have to grab the pig by its legs, turn him upside down and cut its throat open to kill him. It's not very nice seeing the pigs suffer while their blood is drained, and there's usually a lot of screaming. Me and my friend had to grab a sledgehammer and a knife to protect ourselves just in case the pig ran away.

P.S I think the things coming out his stomach are meant to be chunks of bone, but Mortal Kombat isn't exactly known for it's developers wonderful knowledge of the human body! ;)

@blibble321 Since pigs have a nervous system, I would say yes, the pig suffers while being tied upsidedown and his throat pouring blood after being cut.

I know, Mortal Kombat has always been about unexplainable gore. It's fun to look at, but odd. I remember a Youtube user making a parody of that some months ago. He / She's called "nutsvsguts". In the user's video, after an X-Ray move is applied to a girl's boobs, Shao Khan pulls a MK anatomy book out of his pocket and searches for "tit bones".
