  • Great my friend!

  • Love the video. You sold this product to me more then anything else. Alesis should give you a job/free samples :D sub'd

  • @locky889 You're most kind, thank you very much =] I wish they'd give me free stuff too lol

  • Hi there, I would like to know about this device if you can record 2 mono inputs on front and midi input (keyboards or midi drums) simultaneously?

Anybody have experience with this? Thank you

  • @RMDOTE7 No. I mean like a mackie mixer not usb. Doesnt matter, I got the presonus usb audiobox, better than this piece of shit. :)

  • Can you hook a mixer up to this ?!

  • @michaeljackson407 Most mixers are USB, so they don't even go into the interface. I presume you mean a MIDI controller right?

  • hallo

does these alesis audio interface can be connected to a keyboards/keyboard to audio interface.help me please i need to know.

    thanks

  • @tyros2lauraz

if your keyboard has got a midi out, you can connect it to the alesis' midi in.

otherwise you'll have to use your headphone out or mic it.

  • Does your IO2's LEDs light up as you are playing into it to show the sound levels? Mine only light up for a split second when it's plugged in and that's it...

  • if u dont have speakers but some good headphones could u make the headphones the output?

  • @isreal95 , yes it has got a headphone output.

  • I want one of these!

  • Hey:) is it possible to record 2 guitars and 2 mics at the same time? would you recommend this interface? greets!:)

  • @Alissik Sadly No, Only 1 into each input, either Mic OR Guitar, if you are looking for more tracks, Alesis do some fantastic Multi-Mixes =]

  • also, do you ever need the S/PDIF bits because i am now looking at the i02 express and the S/PDIF is the only difference, considering it is £30 cheaper without it would be useful to know if i will ever need it for basic home recordings onto my laptop.

  • @9114rock Sorry this is late, you've probably already made up your mind, however, I shall answer anyway, The Direct/USB Knob, is used for how much of each sound source you have, USB being the computer and Direct I believe is the actual sound going into the the IO2

Personally, I don't think it matters all that much, either one, you are going to be very impressed with and have a good recording experience =]

    Hope that helps

  • Woo..! go music tech people! I'm thinking about getting one of these. What does the whole direct/usb knob thingy do? U mention it about 6 mins in.
