  • These guys were good and very funny. Nothing wrong with their singing in Okuyo language. They were proud to be Okuyos and each person should be proud to be whatever they are, However we should work together as Kenyans. There is beauty in having a language of your own. Travel overseas utawaona weusi wanaojuta kwa vile walipoteza lugha zao. Kudos kundi hili. By the way does the geoup still exist? They used to act karibu Nairobi Cinema wakijiita eti Malaika Weusi.

  • manze thanks. i miss nyumbani tu sana.nani ako na similar videos watsee?

  • Hawa ni black angels dynamic comedians, walitangulia redykulass, and they were much better. as mtu ya eastleigh I prefer them than redyluluss and KTN true story, kudos whoever posted, thanks

  • jesus.....thx a mill u guy 4 bringing bak the memories.i got tears in my eyes

  • thanks 4 the memories!!! I was laughing my ass off seeing this now. In 1992 I was in high school in Nairobi (Jamu)and I remember distinctly checking out these guys and also another guy with dreadlocks (I forget his name) outside Uchumi.

  • lol

  • i don't get this like wat are they talkin bout

  • Walikuwa wakijiita Black Angels ama Malaika Weusi. Hawa ndio waliotangulia Redykuluss na Redkorna. Walikuwa waasisi wa uchekeshaji Nairobi. Nakumbuka saa za adhuhuri tulikuwa tukienda Nairobi Cinema kula "airburger" na kuwasikiliza hawa jamaa.

  • oh sikujua

  • It is sad the guy you see @00.40secs died through a road accident in Nairobi. He was famously known as Nyengese. His young brother took over and he was doing pretty well before disappearing from the seen due to Mungiki menace.

  • Asante sana for putting a name. Ndio hawa jamaa ni watu kama sisi. Which one is Nyengese?

  • Huyo jamaa mweusi sana ambaye anazungumza katika sekunde ya 40. Ndiye alikuwa kiongozi wa kundi hilo.

  • He died though, he was awesome. a real comedian.

  • Asanta

  • Asante kwa kusimama na kufurahika. I plan to post a better version.

  • i see myself in that video.i was so young.

  • Ha! Ha! I knew someone will see themselves. Asante sana. After I read your comment, I felt like I was there. Uchumi. I play the song in my car.

  • It's been a while but it is as funny as ever - if you ever worked or may tarmarcked in the city. These guys were always a comic relieve. The main guy died long back though - you missed your lunch if you dared stand around them during lunchbreak.

  • problem of those who do not nyita the jokes is simply because your out of touch with the basic lifes hapa kenya. kombe

  • Asante sana, lakini life uzunguni can be .... and sometimes we just change.

  • waliozaliwa in the year 19 suruali mrefu looooooooool

  • The script is very well written and the perfomance too good. Hawa jamaa ni wakali sana.

  • oh my this is so old school the black angels dynamite comedians...never seen it on video thanks for posting no matter how long ive been away from home i still remember

  • Its just okay. I guess when u stay away from Kenya for a while, some of those jokes r not funny anmore. Not because ati u have endelead, but because really you almost dont get the jokes anymore.

  • Asante. I understand why you feel that way after being exposed to SNL, Seinfeld and many others for many years. By putting some of our artists on You Tube or any other stage can have a positive impact.

  • wow, I remember actually seeing these guys once when I went to tao, lol.

  • when was that

  • 1992 Kenya was Hot!! Yes, a lot was going on and some might remember: Multiparty, FORD, FORD ASILI, Ondinga, Matiba, Gitobu Imanyara, Paul Muite and IPK. Keep on watching and you might see yourself or someone you know at Jevanjee Gardens or in an IPK demonstration in Mombasa.

  • Thank you for the comment. I wanted to interveiw them, but could not make it. We have to support our artists.
