back then...it was more stealth oriented. Hidden blade was the most important and primary weapon to assassinate. now, Ezio can just go in the crowd, take his blade (hidden blade or sword) or bombs and kill. Thats not how Assassins do their job :/ bombs and other extra weapons ruining the game for me :/

LOL i agree 100% and i think everybody else who is a true gamer does also. It think Ubisoft thinks they can get more money by doing it the way its going now. Too bad, because improving stealth-tactics would benefit the game SO much. I also get the feeling that the parts with Ezio come across as childish compared to the first game with Altair. It should be more serious and Altair is a great mythical character to accomplish that, dont you agree?

In Altair's day, you couldn't use the hidden blade device without cutting off your finger.

Well you could but it wouldn't make sense because the blade comes out were your ring finger should be so it would just cut it off anyways.

The whole point was to give a sacrifice to show you were committed to the cause and worthy to wield it, and when you went to shake someone's hand or pat them on the back to shank them, it would look like your finger and not a from your hand and not a spike

But about 200 years later, Leonardo Da Vinci modified the hidden blade so you don't have to get your finger cut off.
