When Ferrari took orders for the Enzo you had to practically qualify to purchase it being a loyal known customer and not to mention be a previous owner of a few previous models. When you bought an Enzo you had to agree to a contract stating you couldn't resale the car for 2yrs. Ferrari did this so people couldn't by the car flip it for double the cost because of its EXCLUSIVITY.
I really like the LFA but for the price tag I can do so much better, like a Gallardo, R8, or even a Ford GT with money left over to do a twin turbo setup producing around..., 1300whp.

Read Lexus LFA eBrochure available page 18 and page 19. It explains in full detail how Lexus designed the LFA to achieve a front engine midship layout with 52% rear and 48% front rear bias weight distribution with the engine placed right at the center of gravity.

I just can't deny the lexus have one of the most beautiful engine sounds ever and that tanks to Yamaha, but nothing else I prefer a R8 GT or a GT2 RS even the SLS is more Exotic or Ferrari Italy, but if this lexus cost less it will be famous and succeed.

LFA is still a lot lighter and has much better front/rear weight balance. Makes more power as well.
GTR is easy to get the best laps out of since it has AWD that does most work

There is nothing in common between the IS-F and LFA. IS-F's engine hangs over the front axle while LFA's engine is entirely behind the front axle right in the middle of the chassis.

@SpeedKlz You're right in that it's not technically the same as the IS-F, but a "front engine midship" layout does NOT mean the engine "is in the middle of the chassis", it simply means the bulk of the engine is behind the front axle. Period. If it was "in the middle of the chassis", it would be sitting next to the driver. This is the same layout as Infinti uses in their G and M line, and what Nissan uses in the 370z, it's nothing special. I'm not knocking the LF-A though, I LOVE that car.

Still... It posted top 10 fastest laptime on the nurburgring and to do this with only street tires, I'd have to say remarkable engineering from the Lexus team... I have proven my point so you can stop trying to justify your wrong. =) I'm no LFA fanboy I do own an 06 IS250. A nice car is a nice car. P.S I never said the LFA was number one.. I said TOP TEN...

@AnalogLives3 Yes, Lexus LFA is the all-around exotic supercar without any compromises. It post a best 1/4 mile time of 11.4 seconds @ 126 mph in AutoZeitung, sounds one of the best exotic supercar of all times, has a slalom speed of 75.2 mph (Insideline), skidpad of 1.09g and also posted the 9th quickest time of 7:22 of all times on Nurburgring. All of this without super-sticky R compound tires that most supercars today wear. LFA did all of that on Potenza street tires.

@aieljose The video is on youtube of LFA's 7:22 lap. Also, check Lexus Europe's twitter account and info was posted by Lexus Europe that the Nurburgring has lapped "under 7:20" and the standard LFA in 7:22 - 7:23.

I just can't deny the lexus have one of the most beautiful engine sounds ever and that tanks to Yamaha, but nothing else I prefer a R8 GT or a GT2 RS even the SLS is more Exotic or Ferrari Italy, but if this lexus cost less it will be famous and succeed.

Responder a este vídeo... even if the LFA cost the same we here have to remember the LFA is tune up at max.. doesn't give us more, but one GTR is another history or a ZR1 or a Porsche, because we know as soon we have a car the first thing we do is tune up because don't want some one else beat us in the same car.

@AnalogLives3 I know a lot of people like you wants another super car in stet a german or italian one, and of curse the GTR is a nissan car, not a infinity. so a lexus got to be the next super car... this is a car for people can afford a exclusive car, but is not a super car like a Enzo, Mc Laren F1, Mc laren SLR, Veyron. is't just a passing fancy, a big whims nothing else. another fact the number one is the Pagani Zonda R stop's the clock in 6.47.50, 10 Porsche GT2 RS 7.24.00 LFA is not here.

@AnalogLives3 little changes 1- 10 hp more 2- 10mm down to the ground 3- 19 inch wheels of special alloy 4- front spoiler to razor the track ( almost impossible have this in a road ) 5-but not less important a giant carbon fiber wing in the back. that's why this is not a normal street edition, only 50 of this will be sell whit a free pas for nürburgring track.

Oh yea the 2012 gtr will eat the current lfa for dinner, but all they did was up the boost. I'm still in love with the naturally aspirated LFA....

@andreakatickles In the hands of extreme professionals, LFA is still quicker.
This month MotorSports France did test on both LFA and '12 GTR.
Lexus LFA se the record of the fastest around 'Circuit De Nevers' with a lap time of 1:20.6 while '12 GTR was 3rd fastest ever on the track with a lap time of 1:22.8 seconds.
LFA is still a lot lighter and has much better front/rear weight balance. Makes more power as well.
GTR is easy to get the best laps out of since it has AWD that does most work
