if you take pills or adrenaline during this part (or still have temporary health) you WILL NOT GET THIS ACHIEVEMENT because when you lose temporary health it counts as losing health and you won't get this achievement.

Another good way to do this is right after you exit the hatch, turn left. there is a crooked tree that you can run up. i just stood up there shooting down the whole time. a hunter showed up, and even he couldnt get me.

BETTER PLAN -- have person going for the achievement stay in the safe-room...while the other 3 players activate the plane...etc. then, just have the other 3 kill everyone, and when the horde ends -- BLEEP BLOOP...actually a very easy achievement if you do it this way

I have a theory why it won't work. In a system update, something happened which made it mess up. To fix it, clear the system cache and don't update it, it worked for me. :) Also, It glitched and I heard Nick say to open the door after it was opened, so that's probably the problem.

Twice while doing the on top of the airplane "glitch" and once while inside by the back seats and on the one by the seats I made it through with 100% life... and sat there for 5minutes after the horde stopped coming. I dunno, I think if you keep walking down the plane and exit to the right and keep walking into the corner formed by the tail of the plane and some rocks or something, that's the most defensible place. I did it with 4 humans and yeah there were specials but nothing spawns behind you so if you're careful and everyone is halfway decent, I think it shouldn't be a problem to get it that way. And that's more fun because you're actually playing with people, too

Anyone having an issue getting it, exit the entire game and come back in, its some sort of glitch. I could not get it trying multiple methods. I exited completely, came back on easy mode and got the achievement using the same method I had tried 10 times. WEIRD! but Good LUCK!
