Its not too big, I bought the 120gb version few weeks ago and Im MORE than happy. Watch Transformers in HD in a 4.8 inch screen with that colours is heaven :)

i'm not an apple fan, and i do like the archos, but the only thing that turns me away from the archos is the fact that they have a hard disk rather than a flash drive. I don't need that 120 gb of space, i need the reliability. if only they had an 8 gb version that was a flash drive. that would make my day.

Actually, all Archos 5's up to(8, 32, 60GB) are flash drives,120GB+ are hard drives.

why does such a nice product have to be made by such a piece of shit company

there were too many problems with their previous devices and the company treated its customers like shit. the Archos 5 will probabaly be the same. its just not worth the trouble

if there is a problem with the device, it is YOUR fault

lets just hope a better company like Microsoft or Apple comes out to match this device. that wont happen because MS + Apple want control. you need their software + less formats

their customer service is terrible. i have to wait at LEAST 40 min on hold listing to terrible elevator music. but untill then, i love my 605wifi, and ive played with this product a bunch. its great, its cool. does alot more than alot of PmPs. and if apple or microsoft made an equivalent, it would cost SOOO much more.

La vidéo j'ai adoré mais la ce commentaire ça m'a fait explosé de rire.

Passe en magasin et met toi au meme recul que tu as devant ton archos sur un sony 32" tu verra t'aura pas l'air bete et je t'assure que au bout de 2 heures tu pourras jeter tes yeux a la poubelle.

Si pour parlez ainsi; c'est que vous n'avez toujours pas vu l'image de ce ARCHOS 5.

L'image est en 800 x 480 et sur un 12cm, l'image est bluffante de précision et de réalisme: IL FAUT LE VOIR POUR REALISER.

La première sensation que j'ai eu, c'est justement d'avoir l'impression de regarder un Superbe écran LCD de grande taille.

-On en perds les proportions entre le recul réelle et la dimension de l'écran. Dans le noir, vous ne serez plus que vous n'êtes qu'a 50cm de l'écran

Same issue here mithrandel. But my situation isn't as bad I suppose. I just bought a 605 mid June, and accidentally dropped it on the exact wrong way to have the screen crack. I've been trying to save up money to get another 605, but now I'll be working towards this beast!
