Mentor Graphics Customers Discuss PADS and PADS 9.0

How do I unlock 1992-PADSDEMO.

I have many designs and need to unlock the limits to finish.

I'm not willing to upgrade to newer versions, just unlock this abandonware.

By the way. A highly needed update to PADS would be some better control over mechanical aspects like 2d lines and such. Having some autocad type controls for 2d lines would be a godsend. I layout Microwave boards up to 38GHz and a lot fo the parts are printed only and require some very precise dimensions. WE are constantly having to import and export into autocad just to draw things more accurately.

I love PADS but the maintenance fees are fuckign ridiculous. I paid for a year when no updates were released so I canceled and now Don't get this update because I currently don't pay. I own my own private copy and can't afford the insane price of maintenance unlike giant compaines.
