maybe you should learn about engines and physiques a bit. If a flywheel is weighted wrong and to heavy it will control the rev potential of a motor and the balance of the crank shaft. If your crank shaft has any opposite force it isnt spinning freely because it is bound up due to restriction. So yes a flywheel could make a huge difference. Get out of RC cars and into Real cars and you will learn this.

Hey dude I think you need to learn a bit more before you mouth off. I have owned FOUR 10 second and one 9 second fox body. I have owned 13 mustangs in total. Yes I know that a stroker or old style 302 will use a 28oz flywheel and balancer combo while a stock 5.0 roller uses a 50oz flywheel/balancer combo. You need to do more research about me before you post something ignorant just because you see r/c videos on my account.......LMFAO!! I have one car on Rick's AFM site under n/a cars... :)
