ok people who complain about guns exploding and how MilitantDanny thinks that its not realistic for a gun to explode in your hands... dude... for one this isnt modern day and is obviously shown by the condition and weapons on the battle field... the wep. selection is like 20th century... those kind of weapons when worn down can brake a muzzle off a gun ok... so stop whining :P

I think we should come face to face with the enemy more often. A little bit of more of action MORE OFTEN would be very good for the game. I play with the MP5 SD, Makarov SD, and the Dart Rifle.
Something else that I love about far cry is how you can make your own maps and play them online. Some people have great talent with making citys or rural maps.
Thats pretty cool that the weapons can blow up in your hands but I dont think an AK will do that, I saw a video where an AK got dropped in mud and water then run over by a truck and it still functioned fine

Haj never cleans his AK's and he still seems to cycle them pretty well. I know they aint exploding in his hands!

At the worst, you might get cookoff's resulting in the bullet (a solid piece of lead/metal with no explosive properties) to take the path of least resistence... OUT THE BARREL. Runaway guns sometimes happen with belt-fed machine guns. But nothing explodes in your hand. If the barrels completely plugged with something extremely solid, then yes you will have a dangerous situation. 9/10 it will blow it out though.

ya but if u kept it for like 50 days in the african savana i think the heat and humidity would get to it and it might not blow up but it wouldnt work they just made it blow up so ur not using it forever after its way to old
only thing i dont like is the gun exploding in your hand ill be fine with it its just i dont want to keep dealing with guns that blow up all the time it ruins the fun but i rate the game 10/5 i like the rusy dirtyer part of the gun and graphics.

cant even drive a mile without comin across a guard post...and you have the option to go face to face with a shot gun?
alot of the missions are assassination missions which also bring you face to face...
personally...i think they should LOWER the amount of guard posts...even if just a little

only thing i dont like is the gun exploding in your hand ill be fine with it its just i dont want to keep dealing with guns that blow up all the time it ruins the fun but i rate the game 10/5 i like the rusy dirtyer part of the gun and graphics.
