After doing a little research of my own on sound I understand why I hated this cover when I first heard it a few years ago. It's too fucking loud. I'm not saying the cover sucks BUT it sounds as though they brickwalled the shit out this when they mastered it. If it weren't so loud it'd be more listen-able.

Why are you guys talking so much about HIDE? this song is made by YOSHIKI, not HIDE. HIDE wasn't even in the band when YOSHIKI made it in 1985, so wtf!!?? I think this is a unique version of I'll Kill You, and I bet YOSHIKI is happy that someone is making a cover of this old song of his. For ya'll HIDE talkers, the guitarist were Tomoyuki Ogata and Yuji Izumisawa when they made this song, so stop talking bout HIDE now and just fucking enjoy a good fucking cover.

The mood early X has was "impure" as a power metal band. Gastunk influence made them quite "weird". If you'd got used to power metal with X at that era, you might've not been satisfied with another power metal acts like me. I myself had to wait until CoF. Comparing the others to X, most of them were lacking in something.

It's great this cover, Anorexia it's among my favorte black metal bands, and X Japan, it's one of my 5 favorite bands of all time, it's great the tribute. Such differnte musical styles, the admiration for some bands goes beyond the musical taste ;)
